Excellent. They got back to me right away. They were very easy to communicate with. They came out to check measurements and installed the countertop within about 10 days. Very quick and reasonable price. Also offered good ideas for extra trim. Highly recommend

Nst Discount Granite
5.0
We contacted several granite providers, but NST Discount Granite came away at the top of the list for a variety of reasons. Chad, the manager at the Hudson location, was very informative. When I commented I relied on Angie's List for assurance I was picking a good vedor, but there were no listings for them, he gave me a long list of customers I could call. And I did. And they all said they would use them again, even one who had some problems with them. The parent company is Nature's Stone in Burnsville. Chad gave me a rough estimate based on my calculations, and then a contract estimator was sent out through Nature's Stone to measure accurately and assess our installation needs. Less than two weeks later the contract installers arrived and did a beautiful job installing the granite. One small piece had not been included with the order, but Dennis and crew returned just two days later with the piece and installed it in minutes. Throughout the process, we were kept informed of dates and needs by phone, and it was completed efficiently and well. I had my kitchen countertops estimated about 8 years ago--for somewhat less granite than needed for our current remodel--and the price was far higher from another local vendor than the current Discount Granite estimate, so we decided not to purchase it. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the quote I got this time around. And to top it off, by the time the job was done, the price on the granite/square foot was even lower-- not higher! That was a rare and pleasant surprise! Known for their granite and marble, NST Discount Granite can also provide other types of stone, including onyx. I will definitely have them do my next job, the master bath. I highly recommend them

St. Croix Granite

They tried to cut every corner possible... then they simply didn't finish the work that they agreed to do, but kept the $400 I had paid them to do so. The work they did looks good... but only because the granite (which we found and sourced for them) is beautiful. They tried to install pieces of granite that were mistakenly cut 1/2 inch short, and then refused to complete some work that was previously agreed to... and previously paid for. I have multiple voice messages saved from "Bob" the boss which are obnoxious and rude. We were referred to these guys by someone in the industry... and even that person has refused to ever deal with them again after hearing our story and the others similar to it. You'd be advised to stay away

StoneTop Surfaces
5.0
StoneTop was patient with my questions and the difficult choices of colors, finishes, textures, etc. They brought samples that helped a lot and answered all my follow up questions. After installation we had a couple minor cosmetic things to finish and they were very willing to return and do the job to our satisfaction. We have had the concrete counters for almost three months and I can't believe how easy they are to maintain. A simple wipe with a damp sponge and they clean right up including the sinks

Started 1st week of September 2019 and finished third week of December 2019. Four Months to install: range hood, kitchen backsplash, replace bathtub, replace shower, replace toilet, new countertop and bathroom tile. Crew was constantly pulled to go to other jobs. One week delay in getting corrected countertop which was not their fault and one week to get shower panel which was their accident. Normal timelines would be about 6 weeks tops. Billing was done incorrectly. Overcharges on backsplash ceramic tile of $1700. The tile was presented to contractor at estimate time, but once they started it was "complicated" and would require more money. Two of the three installers clearly had never done tile before - did not use proper tools (tile float, spacers and could not follow the pattern). The work they did had to be redone three times. Crew was not supplied tools by Windriver and had to go to Menard's nearly every day. Clean up was not done everyday and I had to ask them continually to haul the garbage out and old fixtures. George told me that he would give us a nice credit because they were so far behind schedule. This did not happen. When I brought my billing concerns and complete documentation to Angie's List, George did not return their calls to resolve. Bathtub - toilet - countertop = A Backsplash in kitchen = D Range hood = A Shower Glass Door = A Punctual = D (constant deployments to other jobs and trips to hardware store because they did not have tool kit with them.) Price = D (overcharged on tile - it was like I was paying to train his people). Also, after I sent the email asking for the 5% Angie's discount coupon to be applied to final billing - the coupon disappeared from the Windriver Angie's list profile. I reported to Angie's List. George said it was applied to the original estimate but in reviewing my documentation there is no line item for it or mention of the 5% discount anywhere on the billing. Management of job site = D (emails sent to George were forwarded to work team to resolve. I was essentially the unpaid supervisor. Professionalism = F ( George did not return Angie's email / phone calls in regards to billing). He asked to sit down and talk to me but at that point I knew I had to have everything in writing. After a very generous amount of time (4 months) to respond to Angie's, he has not. Quality = B (hired two inexperienced people to do tile work - which had to be redone 3X for the team lead and also in the bathroom shower ditto). I paid the overcharge and final billing just to be done with it. The bathroom does look great, but I will not be working with George again

Larson Custom Cabinets
5.0
The owner is Albert Larson. We found them when we were going through a couple of houses, and they were excellent. I liked their choices and their suggestions. The entire staff worked with me on different sizing and in really making it custom to our needs. I am happy with them and their work. Right now, I am trying to use them again

JERRY'S FLOOR STORE
1.0
It went terrible. We made selections for every little component of our new home, and had ZERO issues, except for every area Jerry's was in charge of. Flooring - this category was the least issue we had with, although we had to have them come back and re-stretch the carpet, since there were creases everywhere. They also forgot to put tile area by our lower level door, so they had to come back and add this. Also, they installed a different tile than we chose, but we left it since it wasn't too bad. Countertops - We made our selection months before installation, then 2 days prior to installation we were told we had to drive 2 hours away to choose something different. When we went to choose, there were no options in our "price category". We finally spent the extra money and chose a new one. Backsplash - this still hasn't been fixed, nor do they have any intention to fix... When installing backsplash, professionals are supposed to use a 'silicone' between the cabinets/countertops and the backsplash. Installers decided to use grout instead, and now is cracked in every spot. We have cracks running across the entire backsplash and looks terrible. SHOWER - We spend $10k to upgrade our shower, to a walk-in, all-tile shower. The accent tiles were never installed, so instead of redoing properly, they just cut it out. This created unevenness, and the accent tile began to crack. The main tile was also not consistent, meaning different patterns all over the place. They cracked the tile pieces surrounding the shower head and valve. The tiles at the top of shower are uneven, and they attempted to cover this up with a lot of grout. There is also grout running along all the edges, and is uneven. All experts have told us, grout should never be used for the edges. The floor tile are all uneven and doesn't have a consistent pattern. Lastly, the tiles are incredibly uneven. If you measure from one side where the accent tile begins, it's over a half inch difference on the other side. Regarding the shower, they offered to replace the accent tile only, and refuse to correct anything else. After having 5 different tile experts review the job, they've all confirmed how poor of a job was done. Needless to say, arbitration begins this week. I urge anyone looking for a professional job to done, look elsewhere than Jerry's. Not only all the issues mentioned above, they've been incredibly rude and truly do not care if their work was done poorly. It's only about money to them

HOME DEPOT

WE WOULD NOT HAVE USED HOME DEPOT EXCEPT FOR THE PRODUCT AND THEIR ASSURANCE THAT ''YOU CAN TRUST US, GUARANTEED''. DO NOT HIRE HOME DEPOT FOR HOME REMODEL, AND CERTAINLY DON''T TRUST THEM! HIRE A GOOD CONTRACTOR AND LET THEM ORDER MATERIALS!

Great Northern Granite

Responded quickly to request for an estimate. Sent out their man to measure up and set the time for installation. Showed up on time and install went perfect. They even recommended a plumber familiar with setting the sink for granite. This is the second time I have used this company and would recommend them highly

Custom One Construction
5.0
Chris and Jeff not only did a fine job but were a pleasure to have working in the house, being personable with positive, can-do attitudes and senses of humor. Everything got done in a timely fashion and their work was first class, sturdy, and beautiful. They cleaned afterward and left the basement clean and ready to go. We now have a welcoming and comfortable additional large living space. What a transformation

DK's Woodworking LLC

Went in and picked out cabinets, Dan and Carla found one style and color that worked perfect for me. Josh installed the cabinets and was easy to work with, competent and friendly. Counter tops went in smoothly and they have very professional people at Cambria.
Excellent. Although the company claims work can be done in one day, it took about four days at our house. However, the work was done correctly, right on budget, and we are very pleased.
Great Lakes did a outstanding job. Their installers did all the work in just 3 days. I am very satisfied with the results and would hire Great Lakes again.
They were very professional, helpful and responsive in answering questions and giving us a quote. In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service
I provided a budget of $500 for labor and a maximum of $500 for cabinets and countertop. I was promised this was no problem. I purchased the cabinets and told him to pick them up when he got the countertop. He proposed a oak shelf for part of the countertop. I told him Ok as long as it is within budget. He installed everything and the oak shelf looks beautiful. I received the bill for over $588 in materials and $1500 for labor. Obviously it exceeded all approved budgets. I did not pay he bill in full
I had two carpets that were in bad need of some stretching. I wanted to have this performed before the movers arrived with all of our furniture. Brad initially said he would shoot for the move-in date, but could not promise anything due to existing work loads. Luckily, his guys were able to show up ahead of schedule and quickly perform the service. They trimmed several inches off the carpet, but they still looked excellent when finished. A very good experience
Prefacing this review with the fact that I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and the finished product. The concrete bar top gets a ton of compliments and I love the look and sheen of the finished product. The backsplash tilework was difficult, as we used some very small tiles that had different finishes (glass, shells, stainless, etc...) and it turned out perfect. Of course the painting that went along with all of this was well done, crisp edges and Jeremia was great about cleanup during and after the job was complete. I should add to this review that I had hired him a few years prior to handle some slate tile work in my finished basement along with some stone facing on my fireplace. He had done such a meticulous job that I thought he deserved a shot at this project. He was priced competitively and did a great job again. I definitely recommend The Concrete Moon to others looking for a creative solution to sinks/countertops (concrete!) as well as a high quality job with stone and/or tile
We hired Wildwood Kitchens and Baths to do our kitchen remodel and the experience was excellent. Janel Swanson was absolutely amazing! She is very professional, knowledgeable, and works incredibly fast. We did a full gut renovation of our kitchen, installed new flooring throughout the main level of our home, removed a dining room wall and replaced a window. All of this was completed in 5 weeks. We highly recommend Wildwood Kitchen and Baths
I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support
They were comparable to everybody else and the only reason we did not with them is because they were too far off. We felt like we were were being carried a long. I would not use them again.
I am only compelled to write reviews when I have experienced exceptional customer service and top quality work. Dan at Dobervich Stone surpassed all of our expectations with this project. Dan comes with a lot of experience and has an extreme attention to detail you will not easily find elsewhere. He assists in design, color matching, shape, size and goes out of his way to make sure you get a product that is perfect and that you are going to love. His crew was very professional. Mats on all our floors. The installation was quick, perfectly done and they all worked at the end wiping everything down, making our kitchen look like a show home. I strongly recommend Dan and his team to anyone looking to replace their countertops. He’s amazing
Replacement and installation went very well. The workmanship was excellent and replacement of windows went in a timely manner. I did not lose hardly any heat at all as windows were replaced in February. The City inspector was also very impressed with Lindus Construction workmanship.
We had several quotes and they were very comparable. We worked with Andy, the owner. There are few employees and it is privately owned. The were great. I would use them again.

What do customers in Roberts say about Concrete Countertop Installation?
Wow! Great job! Thanks to Troy and his team for their expertise and professional services on our mini home remodel. From start to finish this was a quality experience: Expert advice, punctual service, and professional installation. Hansen Custom Countertops worked with us to raise our existing cabinets and install a new Cambria quartz countertop, sink, and faucet. From the beginning Troy was very responsive and answered our many questions. And the team of carpenters, plumbers, and countertop installers were excellent. We were especially impressed with how well organized the project was planned and completed. Day 1, tear out, raise cabinet height, disconnect plumbing; Day 2, install new countertop and reconnect plumbing; Day 3 trim work on cabinets. Amazing! Thanks again to Troy and his team. We couldn’t be happier.
