The technician was able to find the problem and repair it in a very short time. Matt was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful. His knowledge of the air conditioning unit was exemplary. He went beyond the normal repair work to ensure there was no other underlying issues. I commend Guardian Heating for employing competent, hard working individuals.

We made this repair arragenment from the phone and the work was carried out while I was away. They were very flexible in working on the logistics of the repair as the home was out in the country.

The repair man was over an hour late, but he did a good, fast job and got our furnace working.  The price was less than our previous repair bills by quite a bit, and it was fast, friendly service.  Other than the late arrival, it was great!

Awful! My HVAC condenser fan blew out and I had Zero heat; I have a huge list of grievances with this company so prepare yourselves.... 1) The company told me they could send someone over for 85$ an hour (plus 6.63 for sales tax) and start charging me the moment their technician leaves the shop... 2) I had family over and the technician arrived as soon as my Sister opened the door and was leaving my home. without promping his arrival the technician walked right past my family as they tried to squeeze past him in the doorway and announces himself with "I am here for the beer!" And was tattooed from His fingers up to his throat. Seriously, a stranger walked into my home and said that! I looked at him in disbelief and demanded, "who are you!?" He laughed and said nothing! I ASSUMED he must have been the guy that was sent to look at my HVAC and after I asked him a second time he finally asked me where my system was. I followed him like a hawk. I knew right away that it was going to be trouble. I regretted CALLING hillards immediately. 3) After calling and telling them my hvac was broken, the technician took 3 minutes to tell me the same thing I already knew. He said he was going to find the parts and get me a quote. He opened one pannel took a picture and charged me 91.63 for his 3 minutes! He called me at 8:30 pm to tell me it would be 600$ in parts plus an undetermined amount of labor! I had to call another company to get the help I needed and after a few moments on the phone they told me that the condenser fan SHOULD NOT have even been on during the winter and they told me how to turn it off to get heat restored within moments!! Thank goodness for the other company, they saved my family from below freezing temperatures without paying them a cent! They even offered to send someone out for free to flip the breaker outside if I was to worried to do it myself! There is a pandemic going on, and many of us are out of work! My family has small children and freezing to death is a serious concern.. WE HAD ZERO HEAT FOR DAYS BECAUSE OF HILLARDS! the technician that came and went without any compassion or communication! STAY AWAY from HILLIARDS!

My Uncle Floyd was born in our Prosser home in 1915. He was a United States Congressman. The home is serviced by Chinook Heating & Air. They were wonderful in solving a difficult heating problem, Thank you Chinook.

When one of our two heat pumps went out this winter, we called for a repair and was told it was time for an upgrade.

our heat pump wasn't cooling so we called Advanced Energy Systems INC and Chuck came out right away. apparently the fan motor on the heat pump was shorting out. he had the replacement parts in the van and repaired it right away, just under an hour later we have out system u and running again.

Just recently moved to the area, the home I purchased had been vacant for some time.A/C unit was not cooling.  Called Norstar and spoke with Kristen.  She was very upbeat and a made my appointment for the service technician to arrive on 07/18/2012.Wayne (Service Tech) was very professional, answered all my questions and proceeded to work on the unit.  It was extremely low on freon, and Wayne topped off the unit.  Then he proceeded to check for leaks.  There were three leaks, all on the valve cores.  Wayne did not have any cores with him (and they did not have any at the shop) but he noted to order them and come back out on the following Thursday (07/26/2012) to replace them.  Updated - they came and finished the service by replacing all three of the valve cores and topping the unit off.  It has run like a champ since.  Wayne was very conscientious and very thorough.  My two Labrador Retrievers are good judges of character and both liked him alot, which is unusual as they are very protective of the house and my son.  I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

We suddenly discovered on a Saturday morning as we were headed out of town that our furnace had stopped working on a particularly cold weekend. Steve showed up in an hour and and quickly diagnosed the problem. Our painting contractor had accidently unwired the thermocouple to the furnace. A simple job, but we were impressed with Steve's timeliness and his professionalism.
