When I called CPI and asked them to finish incorporating the lock into MY system, they informed me that since they hadn't installed it, they would not help me. I offered to pay to have them come to the house to inspect it and then install it, but they have been totally unresponsive. On the upside, when we have accidentally tripped the system, they have been johnny-on-the-spot in responding to it. If you know exactly what you want, as I did, you will have to take the installer through the complete installation (as I failed to do) before he opens his toolbox. I have the protection I wanted, but not the convenience. I am disappointed that CPI's customer service, Quality Assurance, and CEO have each and every one of them had the opportunity to correct the situation but have not even had the courtesy to return calls or emails or postal letters. Unless you have a very plain-vanilla situation, prepare for a headache.
