They did a poor job not only is all the metal u even an some spots not done but they never put snow guards up and they also took my chimney out and covered over it when we called 10 times to have them come fix it they never showed up I have a satallite dish on my roof they just put the metal around it instead of calling an having the company remove it so they could cover the whole roof also they didn't cover the holes to well I still have birds living in my attic they were very rude when u tried asking them questions

The quality of the work was very bad. The contract said that the rafters would be at that standard. After the project was entirely completed, he informed me that they were not at standard. They didn’t put a vapor barrier on at all which is essential to a metal roof. They didn’t adequately support the roof with rafters and beams. The part that does support my roof, they rested on my ceiling rather than the barring or outside walls. I called Mike, left a message and he did not get back to me. The other contractors have looked at it and use the word amateur to describe what had been done. It is too late to put a vapor barrier on and the whole roof would have to be ripped off and re-installed to do so. They left debris all over the place. They did their work in my parking area and they left roofing nails all over it. As a result, I got flat tires. They didn’t respond very well. I had them bring over a magnetic roller and I cleaned my whole driveway up to avoid flat tires. I have had to hire a contractor to go in and fix the portions that can be repaired. Fortunately, the repairs can be made except for the vapor barrier and the fact that the rafters are too far apart.

Called Robert Russo for estimate. He came immediately gave estimate. I had already had another estimate for much higher for the same work so I choose Robert and signed contract for him to do the work. I gave Robert a cash down payment and he gave me a reasonable date for the work to be done. Robert ordered the materials and they were delivered just like he said . I called to check and make sure we were on schedule for the day the work was to begin. Robert answered his phone and told me yes we were on track and work was ready to begin. Had some really bad rain which post-poned work in the middle of it for one day but he came on saturday to finish instead of waiting til monday to finish job.cleaned up all the yard and work area very nice. I have young children but no problem all was cleaned up like it was before the roof was done. Robert was relaible and very easy to work with. I love my green metal roof.Best roof around!

Bad from the start. Took weeks for Reuben to discuss when he was going to come. Then he subcontracts the job. The sub did a terrible job, only min of ice/water shield, exposed nail, wrong heater vent not to code, First rain there was rain drips completely around my chimney. They didnt use metal flash around chimney, just "green" chaulk, Yes I said it - Green. I had to sue him in his some town for the cost of repairing his work around the chimey. I used the money to hire another contractor do flash the chimney correctly. If was a mistake dealing with Reuben after the first time he didnt show on the date he promised to start the project.

Super Service Award Recent Review: We started our search for metal roof quotes several months ago. Erie Construction was significantly high in price, and they were very pushy. Distinctive Metal Roofing (Bruce) quoted us at half the cost, and was low pressure. Not to mention, their metal roofing options are simply gorgeous. Bruce & Gary were very patient with us and guided us the entire way. We went with KasselWood Weathered Cedar. They placed the metal roof over our existing roof. The team was very professional and did a great job. The clean up was great as well. We are so happy with the results and already have had several neighbors asking about the roof! We definitely have the best looking roof on the street, and probably in the whole town of Marshallville. It’s a great investment for someone planning on staying in their home for a long time. Thank you so much, Bruce, Gary, and team!!! :)
Recent Review: We decided to go with a metal roof. Ion and his guys knew what they were doing, were efficient and professional. The job was finished quickly and it looked superb. Best of all my garage doesn't leak. We are very happy and probably won't need to see him for a long while but when or if we do there is no question who we'll call.
Recent Review: Our home suffered damage from a hail storm and many of the homes in the community were getting their roofs and siding replaced which was covered by their homeowner's insurance. We were originally hesitant thinking that our roof was fine until we took a closer look and saw little holes in the shingles and dents in the metal roof venting and cracks in the window sills. A number of homes were using Best Contracting and they seemed to be the most careful and respectful of bushes and landscaping surrounding the homes they were working on. So I called and talked to Myron Stoltsfus who then met with us to quote the job. He explained how the typical insurance claim works and was spot on in how it ended up working. He provided an estimate to us and the insurance company and then met with the insurance adjuster to go through his estimate as it applied to our house. The claim and estimate were approved by the insurance company and after the job was finished, we received the remaining cash held back and paid it to Best Contracting. for a job well done. Myron was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He knew his stuff and was very personable and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend doing business with Myron. I found him very honest and trustworthy and always kept his word. And the quality of their work was top notch.

Recent Review: The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair. The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. WRS

Recent Review: The roof turned out beautiful. The point was made that the view of my house was essentially 35% roof when looking at it from the front. Making it more of a priority to improve the appearance and choose the right roofing tiles. Workers were diligent in picking up materails on a nightly basis and making sure that it looked well kept. A few nails were encountered after the job was done, but for the most part all litter and nails were picked up to insure safety and tidyness.
