Overall, I think the sale and installation went well. The installation took a bit longer than I expected it would, but I think that was a misunderstanding on my part. There are a few things that I wish had been done differently. Like a different threshold at the front door instead of putting a piece of quarter round in front of the existing. Also, on the island cabinet the ends of of the kick plate (term?) stuck out about a quarter inch. Instead of notching the quarter round to go around this, they tried to cut it off. This left a raw edge that now doesn't match and burn marks on the cabinet itself.

Some of the work was good but the finish quality on the kitchen cabinets was a real dissappointment. Additionally, when they removed the moulding to put in the floor, multiple pieces were damaged and not replaced. We called them back for some patch work but they really needed to be replaced so we just accepted it. Eventually we will replace the moulding at our expense. This is the last time we will use them.

Floors at Your Door came and measured the room at our home and we picked out a Berber carpet in their warehouse. On a date we picked, they came out to the house and installed the carpet. By the way, the carpet had held up like iron!! When thru teenager with all his friends and our four pets and it still looks brand new!! It is the Berber multi-colored pattern. HIGHLY RECOMMEND They did an amazing job. They were professional, competent and fair. I couldn't imagine a better team for a renovation on a classic home. The owner Micah Meredith seems like a guy I would enjoy have a beer with. He's was easy to talk to and listened to me. I had a great experience. For my wife and my first remodel job we were worried about getting worked over by the contractor. Micah made us feel comfortable and we feel like he had our best interests in mind the entire time.

Recent Review: The work Classic Marble and Stone Restoration did for us was absolutely wonderful. The floor had cracks in it that they fixed. It wasn't installed correctly, to begin with. But now it looks better than it did when it was brand new. The work was out of this world. They do wonderful work. I worked with Pat, one of the owners, and she was marvelous to work with. They were very, very accommodating, clean and prompt. The prices are fair. I live kind of far away from them and they came here. I've had a lot of work done here and they were the best workers I've ever had over here. Pat was giving me a lot of tips how to keep it looking nice and things like that.
Recent Review: Ran into some issues ,but it was because of the old house and we lived here 15 years.And my husband was slowly working on it ,but got sick.But ,they kept me informed along the way when issues came up.Ready to go onto the next project to get the house up to date and remodeled.
Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.
