Excellent workmanship. Good quality and clean removal of old decking and replacement with new decking and railing. The gate was replaced with a heavier gate that needed to be supported with a wheel. Be sure to discuss this before installation. Deck looks great after two years, easy to clean. Would definitely recommend Freeborne Decking.

We had our old wood deck replaced with composite decking. My inquiry was responded to within a day and we had our estimate date set. Tom was our design consultant and he explained all our options, took measurements and gave us an estimate. Within a day, I received an email with a 3-D rendering of our project, with all the details. On the day of installation, the crew arrived at 7am right on schedule! They immediately began removing and clearing the old deck and hauled it all away. Within 20 minutes it was completely gone and they began construction on the new deck. By 12:30 pm, the new deck was complete! The crew was fantastic, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The new deck is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the whole process!

LONG ISLAND DECKING
So happy we took Jay’s advise with replacing the entire deck which was approximately 30 years old. While demo found 3 supporting posts rotted at the ground. Another registered Trex installer told us we could reface the deck, it would be fine! Thankfully we went with L.I. Decking!! Jay and his team were respectful, punctual and the clean up was on point. Didn’t even know work was in our yard except for seeing our beautiful new deck. Thanks again Jay!!!

Deck Guardian
Deck Guardians was really responsive and professional even before the work began. We got four price quotes before choosing a deck builder because ours was a large deck, lots of materials and labor. Deck Guardians was the most reasonable and was transparent about the cost of materials -vs- labor. There were a lot of "moving pieces" with my job because we had a pool install, hardscaping, electrical and plumbing. Deck Guardians worked well with our other contractors to make sure they were not interfering with each other's work. The crew that did the work were real craftsmen with a great eye for detail. They communicated with me every day regarding the status of the project and didn't hesitate to ask me about how I wanted certain details. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the way the deck looked. I'm very pleased with how the project turned out. I'm confident that Deck Guardians will honor their warranty should that ever come up. I heartily recommend them for any new or resurfacing deck project!

Super Service Award Recent Review: I spoke to Hector wherein we scheduled an appointment to meet. Over the summer I was having a deck put in around our pool. The prior contractor who was initially doing the job did a great disservice. The construction was completely wrong. When I spoke to Hector, he came within the hour to take a look at what I needed to have fixed. The entire build from the previous contractor needed to be torn down and rebuilt. Hector and his crew did an amazing job. I now have the deck I always dreamed of having. They completed the job in three days. I was so impressed with their work that I had an existing deck off my house refurbished and even added pavers. My whole job was done in three weeks. Hector and his crew were extremely reliable and when they said they were going to be there they were. I would definitely hire Unlimited Outdoor Designs again. I wish there was a button for A+++.
Recent Review: From the start, discussing my wants and preferences, to completion, I had nothing but satisfaction. I highly recommend The Deck Guy if you are looking for a professional deck specialist and a reasonable cost. PJ and his crew did a fantastic job. The deck around the pool is built perfectly. PJ suggested adding a deeper color trim adjacent to the pool which turned out beautifully. I wanted a lot of stairs leading to both side of the backyard from the deck. PJ created nice designs for each side: one side with a mix of standard and wide steps (which makes the steps more safe and useful) and the other side with a long stretch of walkway into the yard. Every detail was done meticulously. I get a lot of compliments from the neighbors! He also built a cover for my oil tank with same materials, matching with the deck, steps, and walkway.

Recent Review: They are extremely professional but they are just expensive. They are like over the top with decks. They don’t just build a wood deck, they also have like I-beams and all kinds of stuff. They don’t use things similar as other deck builders. They put themselves in a unique situation where you’re not building it with wood but with bricks and steel. You can’t compare it to anything. They are automated. They have a great computer system where you can go online to do deck plans. They are very high end.
