A company is rated based on how well they perform under non-standard conditions. We were referred to this company through Sears Home Warranty. They were very prompt initially and came out the same day to look at the equipment. I was pleasantly surprised, only to be fooled much later. The heat exchanger had to be replaced and they said that they had to order the part. The part which was supposed to take 2-3 business days, took 5 business days. This put us right in the day of the snow storm. Next, when they did come to our house with the part, they discovered they had the wrong part. I wonder what kind of review they have that a tech drives all the way upto a customer site and then discovers that they have the wrong part!!!! Don't they open it at the start of the day to make sure technicians have the correct parts before starting off their day. Next they said that they will put a rush order on the part. Next story was that the part is not under their control and they are at the mercy of somebody else. Another 3 days have gone by and they still don't have the part. Whatever happened to the "Rush" order???? With all of this happening, they are not willing to make an exception and go the extra mile to get the job done. Their casual approach was "when we get the part, we'll schedule your job". My personal recommendation - STAY AWAY FROM TEMPRITE. Not worth the headache and trouble that one has to go through.
