Pronto Plumbing
I've used Pronto before, and they are just that - Pronto! I called at 11AM and they were at my house at 1PM. They estimated the required repairs and did the work the next morning. The job was completed by 1PM. The service techs were great. I'd be happy to use them again. My only concern was the price of the overall job. It seemed quite high to me for the work performed and the parts used.

I am a social worker and I manage a group home. Last summer it was really hot, it was over 100 degrees and the air conditioning went out. They were the people that would come out at short notice, and I think they came out at 7 o'clock at night. I was not personally at home when he went to fix the air conditioning but I spoke to him on the phone while he was there. He was very nice and very professional. At that time he did quote me a price because it was after hours and my director was there to approve or disapprove it. I just think they did a very good job and just the fact that they would come out any time of day at a short notice is always nice. I don't have anything to compare the price to.

I called Maddox and asked for Kevin who installed my new furnace last year. He found a bad fuse as well as some wiring from the thermostat that need repair. He had it up and running in no time. I remember calling Snell's Air Conditioning & Heating last year about my furnace and got poor communication from them so I remembered Maddox and called them. Kevin came out and evaluated my old, old furnace and explained how a new furnace could save me money. Lesson learned---when you talk on the phone listen to hear if they really care about your problem--Snell didn't care and Maddox did.

They had some problems with the company that supplied the heating and cooling unit. The biggest problem was it took much longer than we anticipated. We had to have a thermostat replaced twice because it did not function correctly. They were very responsive and tried very hard to satisfy our needs and they did.

When Climatemasters came out to do their service call, they replaced my thermostat and recharged the system with coolant. It turned out the "funny noise" I was hearing was just a nylon disk "rain deflector" on the fan shaft. They could have told me I needed a new fan motor and I wouldn't have questioned it. The noise went away when they lubricated it. I trust their integrity.

Tim arrived on time and accessed both roof units. He blew out all the dust, cleaned the radiator elements, verified the capacitors usefulness and each units amperage usage. He replaced the compressor capacitor. When he completed with the roof hardware, he verified that the thermostat was functioning properly and that the air exiting the A/C vents was at an appropriate temperature level.

Excellent service. I called in the early morning (they open at 7am) and they were here at 10am. They give you a 2 hour window when they will show (example: 8-10am, 10-12 noon) and will call before they come to make sure you are home. Personnel are polite, clean and know what they are doing...the cooler is on the roof, so their attention to safety was also comforting. They had all their equipment with them that they needed. In one case, the service man couldn't figure out a detail on our thermostat; he called into the main office and they guided him through the thermostat setting. They also know the brands...when I asked if the Master Cool needed a new pad after 2 years, they assured me that the pads lasted 3-5 years in a Master Cool. They take credit cards, checks, or they will send you a bill. They have been in business in Las Cruces and El Paso for years, and I can see why!

They arrived on time for the installation each day, which is important to me. Todd came out and patched a hole in the drywall where the existing thermostat was located. He even painted the patched wall for me. He did a great job. It looked just like the existing drywall. I would highly recommend Sun City Plumbing.

It took him about 15 minutes to figure out what the problem was, he got it fixed and he was on his way. They were the second company I called to try and get someone to fix the furnace. I'm a realtor and it was a listing, we were experiencing abnormal cold. They had just put in a brand new system so there shouldn't have been any reason why it wasn't working. The company that put it in wired the thermostat wrong. They did a good job. They responded quickly to my request, they were professional, knowledgeable and got the work done quickly.
