The contractor selected was RJB Construction (Roy J. Brown). The final cost of all work was approximately $12,000. The base coat and stucco work was provided by subcontractor ?Olivas Plastering?, which did excellent job in repairing the cracks/ damaged stucco areas and matching the existing stucco texture on the walls. The application of the elastomeric paint was provided by subcontractor ?Gilbert Limon Painting? which also did an excellent job. The carpentry work, door and window installation was done by the contractor?s son ?T J?(Trenton), who also did excellent work. All personnel were nice to work and interface with. Clean-up after each phase of work (to include at time of completion) was excellent. I had some reservations about the length of time the basecoat/stucco and elastomeric paint had time to cure. Most products recommend that the temperature be a minimum of 55 degrees since application on some days were in the mid 30?s F starting at 7:30-8:00 am. The onsite monitoring and follow-up by the Contractor (Roy) could have been more often and timely. Also, when the scope of work was discussed with the contractor at our first meeting, some items in the bid were not included and had to be modified to include those areas. I do recommend RJB construction and would use them again.
