work done:   Small Bathroom - total make over- replaced toilet, vanity/sink, towel rack/tp dispenser, replaced tub with walk-in tile shower, tiled floor, painted walls, added large mirrored medicine cablinet Master Bathroom: replaced small enclosed shower with larger walk-in tile shower (including doors and fixtures), replaced 2 sinks and toilet, tiled floor Steve is very pleasant and easy to work with.  He checks his own (and crew's) work and if something isn't right, fixes it immediately.  His tile work is exceptional. I definitely feel we got our money's worth for all the work done and would recommend him to anyone working on a tight budget.

I asked Roy to do the work on my bathroom because of the Angie's list recommendation and a face to face meeting.  I was not disappointed.  Between Roy's team and the subcontractors he used, the job went well and in a timely manner.  All of the workers were competent, professional, and very helpful with suggestions.  I highly recommend RJB Construction if you need remodeling work done.  When it comes time to redo the Kitchen, these guys will be the first ones I call.

Mr. Weaver is an extremely hard working, dependable, reliable and professional flooring installer.  I learned that he has received the classification of "Master Installer" in his profession and his work shows this in every bit of the outcome to the work he did for us.  As we have an older home, there were many inherent difficulties Mr. Weaver had to overcome with the installation.  However, he would consult my husband and myself with choices of remedies and options and then follow thru with an incredible performance and product.  I have never had such an easy time with a service installer as his work is truly a work of art.  For example, I have no creative-bend on such things as flooring and tile installation and Mr. Weaver recommended that not only we have the proper tile installed in our bathroom, but he recommended options for the installation that involved intricate cuts to the tile to create an absolutely remarkable outcome to our bathroom flooring.  His work is so good, that we plan to have Mr. Weaver return to install the flooring in our master bathroom when we begin that phase of the remodeling work to our home.  This man certainly knows what he is doing and not only a flooring installer, but a Master at his work and accomplishments.

I was satisfied overall but only because I know how to work with Mr.Pena. Its best to have everything documented somewhere for reference purposes. His estimates are unnecessarily high - for instance he will ask "what is your budget'? - duh? what has that to do with your estimate? Never ever give your budget information upfront. Ask for detailed breakup of contractor estimates first. Also ensure he gives you his insurance coverage information as well. You have to ask for it. He may also say permit is not required for plumbing and electrical work. Insist you want it. He is a smooth talker so stay on your toes.

Roy was general contractor on remodeling both bathrooms and repainting the interior of the whole house. He and his son TJ did the carpentry work and Roy subcontracted the electrical, plumbing, tiling, and painting. The carpentry work was exceptional and all the subs were fantastic! The finished product was beyond our expectations! Roy stayed within budget, even with some last minute changes we requested. We will always call RJB Construction first!!!-x

Recent Review: Once a cost estimate was provided for each phase of the work, the work progressed quickly and professionally. Only challenges were with scheduling of sub-contractors, but maximum delays were only one or two days in a 6-week project. The contractor was very accommodating and allowed me to live in my home during most of the construction. Although I have pets, he (and his sub contractors) was very understanding and worked around them as much as possible. I could not be more pleased with the work (which is currently on-going).
