Outstanding! Alan and his crew were very professional and easy to work with. They came to work on time, every day, worked diligently and the project was completed actually ahead of schedule. Communication was excellent. the quality of workmanship was top notch. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I definitely would, and probably will, hire them again for another project.

We hired Unique Design to remodel our kitchen as well as refinish ceilings and walls in other areas of our house. When I started the process with the owner, Alan Pando, I found him to be very personable, engaging and straight-forward. We worked through an itemized project work scope and he provided detailed pricing for each item of that work scope. When work started the crew showed up on time and worked to the defined stop time. Each day the work area was cleaned up prior to the workers leaving. The Unique Design personnel were very amicable and professional. They were always willing to work with us with things we needed to do in the normal conduct of our lives. From the time the work started until the time it ended, there were workers on the job every day of the work week. Early on, after the work had started, we decided that the floors needed to be redone. Not only did we want the floors redone in the existing work area but also in other areas of the house. Alan was very amenable to working with us on this new work scope. He quickly provided us with costing and he was able to make adjustments to accommodate the significant increase in schedule. Also, as with any big project, not all things go exactly as planned. Throughout the process Alan worked with us to make any necessary changes, adjustments and in some cases do overs. He and his crew were very attentive to detail and it was abundantly clear they wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with all aspects of the work. We are ecstatic with our new kitchen and all the other work that was done. It is absolutely amazing. Alan was true to his word from beginning to end. His costs were exceedingly fair and he delivered everything he said he would and beyond. It was a real pleasure doing business with him. I highly recommend Unique Design and would hire them again in a heartbeat. I’d also like to thank Angie’s List for helping me find Unique Design.

Alan is first and foremost honest, thorough, efficient and reliable. The results of our project exceeded our expectations. We have already made plans with Alan to complete some other projects that other companies screwed up. Having lived in Las Cruces as homeowners for almost 30 years we had all but given up on finding a contractor that a) follows through, b) responds quickly to every question or concern, and c) provides high quality services. It is so difficult to find a contractor who does exactly what he says he will do and has the customers' concerns as a priority. Alan provides all that and more ... and his workers are top notch. And the cost of our project was very fair. An excellent experience!

Kent and his guys, including well chosen subcontractors, never cease to amaze.  His work is meticulous and without compare in our area in my experience.  He stands by his work.  For example, a minor accident by one of his guys resulted in him compensated me in full for the damage.  In short, he is honorable and trustworthy; he won't leave the scene until its done right.  Another example: one of the replaced appliances had a minor dent during shipping and he immediately spoke with the supplier, who sent a new one right away.  He's updated wiring, drywall, and boards, some of which wasn't even up to code.  He happily accepts add ons without complaint.   In short, Kent is excellent and I will use him for all future remodeling on our house.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They replaced the shower, the tub, the toilet, the tile.  They did such an amazing job!  They had to rip out all the tiling, the sheet rock, the 2 x 4 studs, the wall that faced the outside, the plywood, everything.  There was so much mold because it wasn't done right before. He took care of it all!  They did texture, taping, stucco repair on the outside, they did everything, you name it!  They did a wonderful job!  When I called him, he came immediately and took care of things!  He was great; just wonderful in my book!  I've never worked with anyone who such a nice person and so attentive in general!  We had a little problem with some of the work and even then, he took care of it immediately!  I would definitely use him again and recommend him to everyone!  They were all so polite and helpful.  It was a lot of fun to work with them!  They were so good!

work done:   Small Bathroom - total make over- replaced toilet, vanity/sink, towel rack/tp dispenser, replaced tub with walk-in tile shower, tiled floor, painted walls, added large mirrored medicine cablinet Master Bathroom: replaced small enclosed shower with larger walk-in tile shower (including doors and fixtures), replaced 2 sinks and toilet, tiled floor Steve is very pleasant and easy to work with.  He checks his own (and crew's) work and if something isn't right, fixes it immediately.  His tile work is exceptional. I definitely feel we got our money's worth for all the work done and would recommend him to anyone working on a tight budget.

The price included him purchasing everything. He was very, very good. He was excellent. He came up with the design. We had wanted to go a certain way and he recommended changes which was a much better way. He knew his stuff. He came up with very good and useable ideas. He was great. He was very friendly and very personable. He was always available to at least talk on the phone. He would be there within a day if we needed. The quality of the work was excellent. He was very responsive. He was extremely professional. I intend to use him again.

Alan and his crew were very professional and thorough. They did an outstanding job. The tile work was amazing, the painting was great. They gave great ideas for tweaks to our design. The price was very fair. I would highly recommend them. They were fast, friendly and efficient. Cleaned up each day and were careful with our house. Alan Pando and his crew is some one I would go to if I needed any other work done.
