Las Cruces Pergola Builders

Project went great and was completed quickly. My backyard looks amazing! The workers were courteous and knowledgeable. Mr. G kept me up to date on the timeline as things progressed. I would definitely have landscape services done again by Gonzales Landscaping.

My original meeting with Sam was great.  He seemed interested and and excited about the plan.  The project included installing an artificial grass area, building a raised flower garden, extending and staining the patio and building a pergola that would attach to the house and would extend the living area of the patio.  The project was also to included replacing old plants and planting grapes near new pergola and then checking and repairing existing sprinkler system. The new grass area and concrete border came out great.  The raised flower bed was okay but workers made a mess with mortar and did not do a cleanup.  The  fellow that Sam contracted for the pergola was great and he designed and built a unique one of a kind pergola which should last for years.  The major problem with the project was the patio concrete extension and staining.  The concrete cracked within a few days and Sam's idea for the fix was to put rebar around the patio to hold everything in place.  We should have insisted he rip it out and fix it right.  We never did get the grapes as promised and the sprinkler system has never worked correctly since.

After being ripped off by another contractor in town, we were a little apprehensive about hiring anyone else. I am glad we called Roy Brown from RJB Construction. He was on time, on budget, and completely professional in every way. He knows his business well. He in an honest business man and a pleasure to work with. He even had an old tree stump removed that I had worked on for weeks and couldn't get out. This he had done for free. I would hire him again anytime!

We were referred to this company by our builder, Robert Jones. We called him after trying to find someone to work on our yard. We made appointments with several other companies. They came to look at our yard, promised to return on set date and never did.Javier ( the owner) met us the day after we called. He emailed the bid to us and had the workers show up within 5 days. It took them a few hours to do the work and the price was very reasonable. We live in Las Cruces, so Javier and his team came in from El Paso to do this job. We have since had Javier back to bid out a pergola for our backyard. Javier is a young professional business owner who is competent and efficient. We will continue to use his company outside and perhaps inside our home.

Paul was the pace setter, the coordinator, the let's get it done and get it done right guy. Whatever needed to be done, Paul saw to it that the right people were there to do it be it plumber, painter or carpender. Paul made sure that whatever materials were needed were there as was he, always coordinating and doing part of the work. I contacted Paul for only a few of the repairs listed, but as I witnessed his work I continued to add on repairs I had long neglected. Paul scheduled and completed all that I listed above with complete satisfaction in approximately two weeks.
