Fenton Hardwood Floor Refinishing

We had our hardwood floor refinished in a guest room that had a patch of water damage from previous owners who had carpet. The guys who came to do the work were very professional and willing to explain whenever we had questions. They worked quickly and well, and they were able to match the refinished wood to the color of the rest of the floor. Not only that, but the water damage and the unevenness of the floor boards was eliminated when they were done. They cleaned up after themselves and left our refinished floor beautiful.

Process went great.  Chris from Key Carpet responded to complete the measuring and presented samples for the carpet.  He said the hardwood could be refinished (I was looking into covering with laminate) and suggested the refinishing for a better look and value in the home.  The refinishing was a less expensive option, Chris was honest about this and we went with the refinishing.  Carpet and hardwood floors were refinished as promised.  All the work was done in about 4 days, and the outcome was fantastic.

Excellent experience.  Crew showed up as expected.  Matched stain color of other existing wood floors. Completed job as scheduled.  Refinished floors look great.

EXCELLENT RESULTS. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOT GOOD COMMUNICATORS (DIDNT LET ME KNOW HOW IT WAS PROGRESSING AS TO NUMBER OF DAYS) THE THING THEY PROMISED TO DO, THEY DID. MY FLOORS ARE OLD, PERHAPS NEVER BEEN REFINISHED AND THEY DID A CAREFUL JOB AND THE RESULTS ARE WONDERFUL.

Everything went very well from start to finish. Brant arrived on time to look at the floor to be refinished and sent us a quote promptly. He paid attention to the fact that we have a large dog and took that into consideration when choosing which type of polyurethane to use. The refinishers arrived on time, were very patient in helping us pick the color of stain, and were careful to keep the rest of the house as dust free as possible (sanding wood floors is always a messy job). They even explained how we can prevent having to do a complete refinish by explaining how to properly care for the floor. I will definitely use them again.

This was the third time they've done work for us. Each time I have dealt with Nick in sales and he is so accomodating. They do a great job and are also very good about clean-up. I highly recommend this company for refinishes and new installation.

I attempted to sand down the hardwood floors in the dining room, living room, and hallway in a home I had just purchased, using rental equipment. I was unable to completely remove the old finish, so I brought in Mike to take a look. He gave me a quote of $625. Later, he called and said he had an opening, and that he could do the job starting that day for $50 less, and we hired him. Him and an assistant went to work. He didn't finish that day, but before he left, he walked the floors with me to find places where holes/dents needed to be filled. His assistant finished the next day. He said the old finish was tough, and it took him more paper than normal to get the job done. When he was done, the finish was all gone and the floors were ready to refinish. He offered to do the staining as well, but I told him I wanted to do that myself. Nevertheless, he offered staining advice and answered a few questions I had.

Leon refinished the hardwood floors in a house that we flipped. The house had been a rental and the floors had a terrible finish and had bad pet stains and deep gouges. We were thinking we'd have to replace a significant portion of the floors. Leon thought he could fix most of the problems and minimize the impact of the stains with the right color. He was right. The finished results were incredible; well beyond expectations. The house sold very quickly and nearly everyone who came through commented how beautiful the floors were.

We were planning to sand and refinish the hardwood floors in our new-to-us condo.  I reached out to several flooring contracters and contacted Allan flooring.  Larry was very responsive, and was able to meet me on-site within 24 hours after our first contact on Angie's list.  He was then able to get our job on the schedule immediately, finishing far ahead of when I expected.  Larry advised us on our original plans and helped us think through what we really wanted to accomplish.  In the end, we didn't need to sand the entire floor to get the results we were looking for, saving us money and saving some of the life of the floors.  We were very satisfied with the outcome.

Salesman was on time and early on estimate.  Floor tech Kawan was great to work with.  He called when he was on his way and always showed up on time and was finished when he said he would be.  He was very knowledgeable about the flooring and had great suggestions as to colors of stain.  He explained what he was doing as he went along, and told me how to take care of my floor after refinishing.  He did  a great job on the refinishing and was  a joy to work with.
