Prescription Rain installed the system in the fall of 2009. I requested that before they leave the premises to instruct me in the use, setting, ect. This was not done. There was no consideration of placement of heads by shrubbery--much of yard already had shrubbery and large plants--small spigots were installed which were intended for grass. There were dry area due to spigots throwing water only to certain areas with no spray in between. There are wet and soggy areas due to leaks at valve and motor heads. This is causing mold in the lawn and garden. They offered no instructions even after I called them many times. I never received a "key" to change the heads until 2011, when I asked about one when a service person had stopped by my home. I asked the service person about changing and adding spigots. He said Ted Keysor would call me, but he never did. I had to run certain zones for 60 minutes because they overlapped improperly, instead of the standard 10 minute per zone. I could not redirect the sprinkler heads. Control malfunctions made it so that 4 zones could not be controlled and would not turn off at the end of the cycle. I read the manual and called Ted, but he never called me back. The pump is missing the proper fitting to prevent winter freezing. The pump is undersized for adequate coverage (1.5 horse) with the amount of zones and spigots that were initially installed. It should have been 2 hp or more. There are water lines of different dimensions going into the pump and reducing its life. I have requested attendance from Ted many times to discuss changes, repairs, and possible additions to make the system run properly--I did not receive one answer or phone call. There was to be a 3 yr warranty, but since the system was installed in the fall of 2009 and not used until 2012, the warranty should have covered 2012, however since there was no way to get in contact with Ted Keysor, there was no way to get the warranty work done.
