Larry Nelson is the owner/operator. Got the job started as early as possible. He worked with us on getting the drilling done by a different contractor and I arranged the electrician. That electrician part was a bit of a challenge, as we are rural and didn't know exactly what we needed. Our utility company suggested working with Absolute Comfort at the outset, but it was simply because I had tried getting a couple of bids and didn't feel like the contractors knew what they were doing. I really was the general contractor for the entire job, it did save a few hundred dollars. So total cost of our project was about $28K including hardware, drilling and Absolute Comfort contractor. Electrical was about $2K. Drywall repair and some misc expenses pending. Our geotherm unit is a 5Ton and we got rebates from state, feds and our electrical service. I would have like to had some more ductwork completed, but that didn't happen. We also have to call him back and do the hot water heater hook up. Seems like that got dropped over the last 2 weeks or so, they started and didn't finish. Overall though, I'd rate Absolute Comfort and "A" and I see Larry as very knowledgeable about geotherm. His experience is badly missing in the marketplace, many installers of traditional natural gas and air source heat pumps simply don't know what they are doing. Larry was able to "catch" a clogged or kinked loop the drillers put in our yard so we had to have them come out and re-dig it. I guess if it was up to me alone, I would have missed it.
