I thought the price was high but since the homeowner's association did not accept a prebuilt aluminum shed, I went with this. The estimate for the fence was a bit more than Lowe's and I did not get another estimate for the shed. The fence looks very nice and there have been several drive-by people to inquire about it. I did not watch every step of the installation but I hope they put cement in all the post holes as they said. When pushed on, the fence has a lot of give but they assured me that was the nature of vinyl fences. When they were finished with the fence, they had provided latches on the gates, but no handles. They responded quickly to come and provide the handles on all the gates. After that, the main walk gate was sagging and did not close without lifting it up. I called and they returned several days later to fix that. The storage shed also looks very nice and seems well built, however, I noticed as they started on it that they were putting the foundation directly on the ground. I went out and commented that in my experience with past sheds they were on supports and up off the ground. The builder called the boss and they raised the shed 6-8" off the ground on cinder blocks. There were several days of rain after they had the flooring and frame up. They covered half of the flooring and the materials on the lawn with a tarp. The flooring and wall materials got very wet. I swept the standing water off the floor. The roof, vinyl siding, vents, etc. were all constructed in a timely manner. As they were putting up the siding, I noticed that the flooring did not feel sturdy. Upon looking the material up on line, it was sub-flooring. . . so I asked, "is that the final flooring, since it is described as sub-flooring and not as strong as plywood"? At that point they said they would put a layer of plywood over. I think they used a thin plywood. I should have specified thicker as the floor still does not feel as strong as I think it should. After they said they were finished, there was a foot of bare wood along the bottom outside which looked unfinished to me. I called and they said they would be glad to cover it with a baked enamel aluminum, which they put on the 3 sides that show. Now it looks beautiful (for a storage shed).
