Putnam Interior Trim Installation

My experience with him was tremendous.  He paid attention to detail and he took his time to make sure that everything he did was perfect which I liked as it is hard to get these days.  The job turned our very good.  He is going to do some bathroom work for me.

Legacy Construction is a wonderful company. They were prompt, neat and the quality of the carpentry superb. I was very happy with the final product. Jon does a great job dedicated to the client and is committed to doing the job right the first time. Extremely pleased!

Exceptional workmanship! I needed the floors leveled and ran into a lot of rotted sub-floor. He fixed it with ease! The inspector came out and didn't even flinch! All of my walls had a tremendous amount of repairs. He repaired the sub-floor, fixed my walls, installed the floors, installed trim on 8 windows, installed an entire new picture window, installed crown, a closet, and painted; in a week and 4 days. After dealing with multiple other contractors; I won't use anybody else for work on my home.

Storm Door Installation - He chose the doors - perfect match for my house...excellent installation. Drywall patching - it doesn't even look like there was a hole there! Installed an air conditioner in my wall with amazing innovation! Installed trim work on my stairway - I have an old house with curving stairs...looks great! Bathroom light and fan work great!! He even talked to my dog - I'd definitely hire again.

They arrived on time. Began removing old windows while new ones were being unloaded. They prepared the openings for the new windows and once installed installed trim to match. Larry and OJ went about their work in a friendly and professional manner. When they were done, they cleaned up the mess and carted away the old windows. I felt the value of the windows was great and the service matched that. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone thinking about replacement windows. An additional note 1: I got a quote from another contractor for the exact same windows and it was more than twice what I paid. Note 2: You may wonder why I gave them a B over all. It was because the communication between myself and the contractor was a bit lacking on their part. But all's well that ends well. I will call them again for the rest of the windows on the back side of the house. Thanks guys.

The process was smooth, quick, professional, economically efficient and subsequently stress free. The work was mind blowing as it was economical, quick and I was left with beautiful results. I would highly recommend this contractor/handyman. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest.

Details of the work:  Demo and removed all of the existing bath, shower and floor tile, glass enclosure, and vanity countertop. Removed toilet, vanity, vanity fixtures and bathroom door for later reuse/re-install at end of job. Removal of subfloor, tile backers, and replace water-damaged wood framing. Install overhead shower rainhead, diverter and other plumbing fixtures to create dual rainhead, handheld shower system. Pour a new mud pan for shower floor. Install Kerdi-Schluter system (drain, membrane, dual shower niche) to cover and waterproof entire shower area and adjoin corner tub. Replace sheetrock, and tape, coat and sand joints. Re-tile with higher grade porcelain tile for shower wall and shower floor, bathroom floor and tub surround, and grout tile with epoxy grout. Install overhead shower lighting with recessed LEDs. Install new custom, frameless glass enclosure for shower stall. Install new quartz vanity top. Replace trim and paint trim and walls.   Dave and his crew were reliable, friendly and very communicative in informing us regarding the various staging of the work, its timing, and insuring all of our needs were met as the remodeling process was ongoing.  Dave even was kind to teach us specifics of how the work was conducted and "do's and don'ts of various stages of the remodeling process. This was greatly appreciated as the remodel job was necessary to fix and undo a bad shower installation from when we originally built the house. He showed us where the previous contractors made mistakes or used acceptable but inferior materials. We absolutely love the finished product, which took approximately 2.5 months from start to finish. We will certainly call on Tetlow Builders again in the future for our remodeling/contractor needs.

Scott and Todd are really nice guys and did nice work. Their hourly rate was very reasonable. They often have a full time gig working during the week for a contractor ( building new houses), but do other work on the side. Most of the work they did for me was on weekends. They are rather "old school" - there is no website and they don't email. Just two hard working brothers who get the job done and appreciate the work.
