We had a 65 foot blue spruce that needed to come down as it had been ravaged by blight. We also had branches from last October's storm still on our power wires. As Hurricane Sandy was heading in our direction, we needed the work done promptly. We called Dan on Friday, he came out to give us an estimate on Saturday, and the work was completed on Sunday. We had also cut numerous trees in our yard that we wanted to get rid of, and Dan and his crew disposed of those for us as well, while also removing the blue spruce and the branches from the wires. The spruce had been planted when I was born by my grandparents, so I asked Dan if he could cut the stump into a seat, which he did as well. All of this work came in well below the estimate that Dan had given us, which, for three guys coming out on Sunday and paying double time, was still exceedingly reasonable. We will definitely use Dan's company again - his crew is friendly, professional, and they even raked the yard, which blew me away. Awesome job, guys

I contacted Daniel via email and heard back from him within 24 hours. He arrived promptly on the date and time we agreed upon for him to take a look at the site. He was polite (and funny!), and did not at any point attempt to rush the consult. His estimate, which included a detailed description of the work, was sent shortly thereafter, and was error-free. No hidden fees, no surprises. Daniel and his team arrived on the day we agreed upon, and immediately set to work. They worked steadily throughout the day, stopping only for a brief lunch. They made steady progress, cleaning up after themselves as they moved from tree to tree. They worked at this same pace for the entire 4 days it took them to complete this VERY large project!! As we observed their progress, it was clear that they worked well as a team, and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Not one member of the team was ever observed just wandering around wasting time. Everyone was busy at all times, and clearly knew what they were supposed to be doing! The overall quality of the work performed was absolutely STELLAR!!! They were, without exception, polite and respectful of us, from Daniel and his team, to Brooke in the office. They were also careful about our property in general, taking care not to dig up the lawn or leave a mess. We will, without hesitation, have them back here again and again! I did agree to the hourly fee & let time slip by but in future, would watch the clock better & compare prices b4 hiring

Found them while they were trimming limbs off of a neighbor's oak tree using a bucket truck. Asked them to come by an look at the tree in my front yard. As they finished really late, they came by the next morning to inspect the job. As I liked their offer and could start the work immediately I said yes. Jerry, the owner, did a really great job on all the dead branches including some that I could not spot.The crew of 3 did a really complete job of cleaning up all the debris. After Jerry finished I asked him to look at a row of old, ugly hemlocks which I was considering removing. We also looked at some raggedy hemlock trees growing in the same area. He provided an estimate on the spot for removal, wood chipping and stump grinding. And offered to do the work the same morning since they had the gear already on site. As the price he quoted was substantially less than another company I talked to (who did prior tree trimming work) I shook hands and asked him to start.When we returned 45 min later from a shopping run, we found all the hemlocks gone and most of them chipped. I watch Jerry do a precise job of dropping the trees without damaging nearby shrubbery. The driveway, where the chipper was, is spotless. The subcontractor, who does the stump grinding, was unavailable and was scheduled to come out the following day which he did around just before noon. 90 minutes later the stumps were ground out and the holes backfilled. Even got some advice on replacement trees.Neat, efficient, professional and not too costly, a great combination

These people were fantastic! I can't say enough good things about them. They removed the 9 trees from my front lawn and even removed a tree from my backyard at no extra charge. They ground the stumps but did not throw the chips into the holes. They actually hauled the chips away! They were very detail oriented. They raked the lawn and blew the chips out of the road. Even the neighbors were impressed by their tree service! The price was unbelievable it was so good! I would highly recommend them to anyone

After my initial call for a quote, Dan prompty showed up to give me an estimate and explained thoroughly what would be done. I had 8 tree stumps in my yard and 4 additonal ones along my property boundary with my neighbor. Dan even worked with my neighbor by answering numerous questions. The tree stumps were grinded to well below the surface and there was no damage to my yard. He took necessary precautions for flying debris such as rocks. Dan is very professional and knowledgeable. I would definately recommend this company to anyone who needs tree service completed on their property
