He was polite and knowledgeable and able to fix it immediately as he had the replacement part with him.

Did multiple repairs for homeowner whom I was selling home for. Showed up on time, very knowledgeable, did work fast and efficient. Explained repairs, and recommendations, guided. Very reasonably priced. Fixes Leaks, replaced smoke detectors, removal of extra wiring, patched multiple holes in drywall, installed air gap, bathroom ventilation fan motors, toilet fill valve and various other repair needs. Very well rounded in knowledge of repairs. We were all very happy with work.

It was wonderful.  Tikar was very professional and informative.  He took pictures, showed me what he was doing and took time to explain how the process worked.   I had a estimate for the cleaning and was told by the person who answered the phone that Tikar would quote for the additional services I needed (adding the seal and putting the pipe back together after a remodel).   The service didn't take very long.  All in all it was great service for the price paid.

Captain Kirk arrived and quickly found a few issues and fixed them. He had the parts and knowledge to do the work quickly. He took pictures and showed the issues. Excellent work.

Numerous calls, no returned call. Finally scheduled and they never showed up. No call, no email, nothing. I called several times and my calls were never returned.

I was told that Hearth & Home does not service products it does not install (i.e., you have to buy something from them first before they come out to your house to see if your fireplace can be fixed).

These people have been terrible to deal with.  We had problems with a Pacific Energy stove the moment it was turned on.  It took a week and a half to get them to come out and look at it.  They acknowledged the problems and said ?we?ll take care of you?.  That was the last I heard from them without my initiating a phone call. In the course of aprox. 3 months and a dozen phone calls, new excuses every time but a promise our problems would be taken care of, and assurances this would include labor as well when directly asked, they finally came up with some parts but said we?d have to pay them to fix it.  They wanted us to pay them to fix the defective stove we?d bought from them!  These people should not be in business.  It?s beyond poor service but a lack of integrity and honesty.

They sent convicted felons into my home when I was alone.  The men portrayed themselves as being contractors when they weren't.  They lied to me. They installed the fire place so poorly that when I went to get my final for my house, I had six things wrong with it. Five of those things were with the fireplace. I had to tear it apart and fix it myself.  They hired these guys without checking them out. They cracked my rafters when installing the umbrella.  I showed it to the owner, but he did nothing about it.  I would never ever use them again in the future.

On the day we scheduled the installation, they were on time, something that rarely happens in Del Norte Co, but you can count on with Chimney Kraft!  After they arrived and we began talking about the day's work, it became obvious that there was some confusion about some aspects of the installation.  They were very professional and respectful during the discussion and were very willing to work with me to accommodate what I thought I had communicated.  They did as much of the installation as they could at that time and scheduled another day and time to come back and finish as they need to order additional parts to do what I wanted done.  When they returned, I was not charged an addition fee for the extended installation and I was only charged cost for the additional parts.  Everything was done well and explained in detail.  Since we had to do this in two sessions, I was not able to be home for the second installation date, and I was not there to have the operation of the new system explained to me, but one of the technicians left a message for me to call and he would stop by and teach me how to use the system on his way home from work one evening.  It wasn't necessary for him to do that, as it was explained well enough to my son and daughter-in-law that they were able to teach me. Over all this was the most painless major improvements I have ever had done.  I would highly recommend Chimney Kraft to anyone considering a new or updated heating system or any other work on their chimney or fireplace.

Originally this cabin was built to be a part time vacation home, but the remodel brought out the best the cabin has to offer as a full time permenant residence. Mangold Developments (Chad is the owner) was prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with. He paid attention to the details we needed to make the cabin comfortable, efficient and attractive. We appreciated the fact that we had a certain style in mind and Chad worked with materials and design that complimented our vision. We never were left wondering when or where we were at on the project. We established time frames and a budget; Mangold Developments came through with flying colors on all counts. We were amazed at how clean and organized all phases of the project went, which meant everything to us since our time is spread between two homes and two jobs in two different parts of the state. We would highly recommend Chad and Mangold Developments as an honest, professional contractor and project manager.
