The porch at my house was not in good shape and I needed it to be replaced and fixed. Several companies came over and gave me estimates for the work. Shay was one of them. What I liked about Shay is that he took his time to check and see what can be done at the right price and instead of telling me that I need to replace all of it. Shay gave me 2 options and 2 estimates. 1 for the repair and the second one for new installation. I decided to go with the new one because I wanted to get a fresh look and not to worry about any additional repair in the future. His estimate included 20’x10’ of new porch and includes the removal of the old one and repair some of the studs that were damaged from the water. Shay was able to schedule his workers to start the work the same week. His guys (3 in total) came over and start the work. The removal of the old porch took 1 day and they were able to replace the damaged parts below it as well. After that, he came back and worked with the guys making sure the work is done correctly and on the best side. 2 days after and the porch was complete. I do recommend Shay and his company. They did a good job and I love it.

Took longer than expected. They told me it would take one week but I had to live with the mess and inconvenience for three weeks. They do not clean up their dust and mess when they are finished so I had a lot of dusting and vacuuming to do in my living room. They did remove the debris from the old porches. Mr. LaValle listens well and gave me the look I wanted for my house.

The project execution was excellent.  It was completed on schedule, within budget, and exhibited superior craftsmanship.  In April, 2011, Blount County was devastated by a hail storm, which destroyed the west and south sides of the screened porch.  After a call to The Decking Crew, an estimate of the repair and replacement costs was prepared, approved, and the work performed in a matter of days.  The result was a screened porch that was, "good as new".

Very professional, I was very happy. They were clean and neat, and went out of their way to make sure I was happy at the end of project.

It still looks new. A large two level rear deck and metal rails last summer and recently a wooden bridge over a creek bed. Truly a great person and Contractor

Andrew Livingstone, reliable and professional, was very skillful at building us a new deck. He stayed within the budget, he worked within the timeline. The deck is beautiful and just what we wanted.

Robert Aylor and his crew did an excellent job including a few items that he did not charge for. I can wholeheartedly recommend Robert Aylor construction for any remodeling job. He is very professional and always keeps his appointments. His pricing is very fair.

Everything well done - all projects. Donald and his crew always cleaned-up very well wile the jobs are completed. Not like other contractors.
