Susanville Fireplace Installation

We initially contacted TGI for a new wood fireplace insert. They helped us through all of the steps as we needed to remove the existing one and replace the rock front and hearth. As you can see the finished product is beautiful. Highly recommend! Bob (owner) and Cody did fireplace install for mine. They kept the area clear and clean and were able to get the fireplace installed within the day once the rockwork was done. Having young children it's incredibly important who I invite into my home. I would be happy to do business again! Thank you both!!

Great company to work with! The selection of fireplaces that they have is pretty big. Kobi gave us a personal service and he made sure that everything will fit 100% to the space where we wanted to install the fireplace. During our meetings, Kobi brought with him all the samples of fireplaces that they can made and he worked on the details of it while making sure the measurements are perfect. It took him 2 weeks to come over and to install the new fireplace. No issues or miscommunication with Kobi and he made sure to inform us on the installation day ahead of time.

I had shopped around and I really liked the Harman and the price was right. The installation date worked right into my schedule. Heat Source sent me two very qualified installers, who answered questions and explained the process of removing old wood burner and my new install. Both these men were professional and very friendly, job site and pick up was very clean. Before leaving we did a walk through on the Easy Touch System. I made an error and forgot to include the Logs. I called Ray, ordered and paid for logs, which were installed with no additional charge. I can honestly say that my entire experience with Heat Source was excellent.

Have get "proof of destruction" from Sierra Home Essentials to claim rebate for replacing old wood stove. All has gone well, and expect that to continue through there good service.

Jeff Hahn and crew arrived on time and with my new  stove. They quickly removed my old stove, did all the modifications required by the EPA for instillation of an EPA approved wood burning stove in California. They even took my old stove to the local recycle site. They removed all trash and refuse. an excellent job.

I've used them before many times, on time, good price, top notch workmanship, professional courteous, polite, and they know what they're doing.  They do great windows too!!

Installed fireplace in 2006. In 2007 fireplace not functioning property - excessive smoke and unit was 100% un-useable. Dealer installed extraction motor. 2008 extraction motor did not function and new electrical switch was installed. 2010 motor and flew cap blown off roof. Analysis reveled that motor and cap were not installed properly, and motor adaptor was left out. Cap was oversized resulting in wind blowing it off chimney. This caused electrical circuit short, blowing out the motor and control. Owner, Kenneth Harrison, came to review and accepted NO responsibility. In fact, Mr. Harrison was rude and confrontational. His family (wife and daughter) who generally run the office, told us to "Go away," and claimed we were rude. Actually, we were simply, and politely, trying to obtain some help and service.

Phil and Colby arrived on time, prepared the house with drop cloths and wore protective footwear to keep my carpeting clean.  They explained each step of their work and checked at the end to be sure I was satisfied.  They left my house clean and safe!

Bryan was on time and very good at his job also very knowledgeable and then stone person needed hearth top cut a little more, Bryan came back and adjusted it.

On the day we scheduled the installation, they were on time, something that rarely happens in Del Norte Co, but you can count on with Chimney Kraft!  After they arrived and we began talking about the day's work, it became obvious that there was some confusion about some aspects of the installation.  They were very professional and respectful during the discussion and were very willing to work with me to accommodate what I thought I had communicated.  They did as much of the installation as they could at that time and scheduled another day and time to come back and finish as they need to order additional parts to do what I wanted done.  When they returned, I was not charged an addition fee for the extended installation and I was only charged cost for the additional parts.  Everything was done well and explained in detail.  Since we had to do this in two sessions, I was not able to be home for the second installation date, and I was not there to have the operation of the new system explained to me, but one of the technicians left a message for me to call and he would stop by and teach me how to use the system on his way home from work one evening.  It wasn't necessary for him to do that, as it was explained well enough to my son and daughter-in-law that they were able to teach me. Over all this was the most painless major improvements I have ever had done.  I would highly recommend Chimney Kraft to anyone considering a new or updated heating system or any other work on their chimney or fireplace.
