Let me start off by saying I hope you never have to experience your house being flooded. If you do, definitely use these guys! We had an overflow in our upstairs shower pan and toilet. It was from a tree root that caused a full blown sewage backup. Shane was at our house within an hour after calling them. Right away I felt comfortable because of how professional and knowledgeable they were. The entire process was explained and they even showed me the affected areas using a cool thermal imaging camera. I have heard about other restoration companies coming in and start tearing everything up just to rack up a higher insurance bill. They were able to explain everything that was done. It took a few days for everything to dry down but it all was sanitized and they even sent out a hygienist after the work was completed to test for any remaining bio hazard. The hygienist said it was probably cleaner than it was before the loss occurred. Either way, in an unfortunate circumstance they managed to make us feel much more comfortable about getting our house back to how it used to be.

Five Star Restoration & Construction Inc
During one of the storms we had in December of 2012, I was awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of dripping. I discovered that my master bedroom window was leaking and the water was dripping down on the window sill. It ran across the sill and down the wall and eventually across the carpet. I placed towels at the point were the drips were falling and tried to go back to sleep. The next morning (Sunday) I woke up and called Five Star, after looking through my monthly flyer from Angies List. They responded that day, started the drying proccess on the rug and placed plastic sheeting aroung the window to prevent further damage and allow the repair the leak, which was a faulty seal around the master bedroom window. Over the course of the next four weeks, Five Star worked with my insurance complany and ultimately completed replacing the insulation in the wall, wallboard, carpet pad and painted all areas affected. Everything is as good as new.

Mr. Hawley was very professional. He even called to let me know his ETA. He picked up the materials needed to replace the particle board under my kitchen sink which was damaged by a leaking garbage disposal. While replacing the particle board, Mr. Hawley noticed a leak in one of the pipes under the sink. He fixed the problem. I was very satified with the work Mr. Hawley performed. With his great business ethics and excellant work, I would use his company again for future repairs.

Recent Review: They responded quickly to my inquiry, arrived when they said they would and were in and out within 6 hours and left the bathroom as clean as they found it. My shower looks brand new. This company is amazing and the quality of work they provided was exceptional. I considered having the entire shower re-tiled and by going through this company, I saved approximately $2500 and my shower looks brand new. The transformation was amazing! I will recommend their services to anybody who is considering replacing their tile because of dingy, discolored and worn looking tile and grout, as well as stained and moldy looking caulking. I love the fact that we do not have to be worried about needing to caulk since they use a special treatment that prevents having to constantly caulk the shower every couple of years. They back their work and will return if any of the caulking or grout begins to wear out. They were GREAT!
