Dealt with the owner of the company Nick. He came to pick up the dumpster after we filled the dumpster with our landscape and yard waste. He was one day late to get the dumpster which we did not mind, but upon showing up he called me to let me know that he could not take a dumpster full of mixed materials. He insisted that he had to pay a dump fee and the cost would be additional (none of this was disclosed to us from the get go) . He insisted that he did not want to take the dumpster at all. Nick decided instead of dumping it in our yard (where it was to begin with), that he would dump the full container on the street! Very rude and unprofessional, please do not deal with him if you can help it all! We were never given a contract or the website to review. He asked us yes, and we let him know that we would be cleaning up our yard, so isn't dirt implied? I specifically told nick that I was picking up rocks in my yard and breaking up concrete and cleaning up some junk our old home owner left behind. I was never told to review their website to know the "rules" or given them in writing/verbally. His Response to us: It is clearly noted on Mini Dumpsters website regarding dirt / conrete hauls. Large amounts of dirt MUST be separate from any trash. This is also repeated over the phone at the time of booking. Mr. Gill mixed the load with trash and became irate when I told you that there were going to be additional fees because of this. Mr. Gill continue to bash my company and threatened to write a bad review. At this point the best thing for us to do was to part ways and refund his money. Mr. Gill, was verbally attacking and not willing to understanding of operations at Mini Dumpsters. A full refund has been issued and I hope Mr. Gill finds the service he is looking for. Yes, we were a day late picking up the dumpster., because your pick up day was on Easter Sunday, which we reserve the right to close to engage in our religious believes. All that aside he does reserve the right to refuse service and I know customers can be difficult to deal with being in customer service my self. The moment I really became ticked off is when he rolled the dumpster off our driveway into the street and then proceeded to dump the full trailer on the street. I can not understand how he thought this was ok. I have contacted the city of Fresno, police department for a citation as well as small claims court for the additional clean up costs we will be incurring. I do not expect Nick to come back or try to make this right but I do not appreciate (neither do my neighbors) the full trailer being dumped in the public road in front of our home. If we had a disagreement over price he could have simply asked for the difference or given me a chance to unload the dumpster. It is raining in Fresno today and our street is flooding now, definitely not professional and very rude!
