Our oven is a Parkline wall oven, which was in the house when it was built in 1960. The pilot light was burning, but did not ignite the oven for us to bake. The serviceman (Ike) called earlier than the scheduled repair time, because he was running ahead of schedule, which worked fine for us. After checking it out, he cleaned the pilot light, the oven burner, and the burner orifice. He finally got it all working again, so that we can bake and roast, although for a while it looked like it might not be repairable. He carefully ran tests on the oven to make sure it was working properly. Because of the oven's age, Ike gave us advice about how to take care of it and discussed possibilities for future replacement, if needed. He went the extra mile in servicing an old oven and giving us helpful advice!
