Lomita Basement Leak Repair

Allen Riffe gave us a free consultation on waterproofing our basement, as we had 2 windows leaking water. He was polite, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. When I asked him to quote on the work he suggested that we could probably have our workers perform the work as a less costly rate than he could give us. When we offered to pay for consulting time----or even just transportation cost----he declined the offer and said he liked to help people. We were extremely impressed with his service and knowledge and would recommend him highly.

I called Julian Construction based on their reviews. I had a couple estimates done for the work and Julian came in a bit lower than the other company. I decided to go with them since they did have the reviews to back up their work. I didn't make a mistake - they were great. The work was completed so quickly. Edgar, the team leader, was very responsive and was happy to explain everything they were working on including backing up the information with photos. I actually went under the house to check on the work daily and was impressed with how much they were able to accomplish so quickly. And they never left a mess behind when they left at the end of the day. My house is more solid now thanks to Julian Construction.

Excellent company. Free estimate and very informative proposal. Completed job and passed inspection. Cleaned up afterwards. Had accident with sprinklers but had it fixed the next day. Thank you to everyone at The Foundation Works.

Great experience start to finish. So patient and responsive to my questions about estimate. Work crew was fabulous--on time, friendly, and super thorough. They left my property so clean, despite 5 days of foundation dust.  Just a pleasure to work with them. Highly recommended.

We called them to come do a leak assessment and repair. They gave us a very good estimate price compared to 2 other estimates we had= one company quoted us 200 more, another 200 less, but the one quoting 200 less said they would have to break down an external wall and wouldn't be responsible for the wall repair... They did a great job, were incredibly professional, and very fast. their repair has stood the test of time, it's been 3 months now- and we're incredibly satisfied. In fact, while I'm happy no other plumbing has gone awry, I'm now waiting for anyone I know to need a plumber so I can recommend them. :)

Dan Harris is very professional, knowledgeable, patient , helpful . He has the qualities of a Great Contractor, We will hire him again  and will highly recommend to anyone. I would like to mention also that his staff, starting with the office manager are  also wonderful. They remind you of all the appointments and update you with the work progress.

He arrived on time, started and completed the work within a few hours, and reduced the quoted estimate because the work did not require as many hours as estimated.

It was a nightmare. We ORIGINALLY signed a contract in September with them, and were told the job would take "10 days"... Updated Dec. 2016...**(see below) The sales rep, Amir, told us "10 days" would be the total time to do this job - which was a major selling point; so we hired Sterling... what a mistake that was! Originally signed a contract on 9-19-2016--- here we are in november still waiting for this "10 day" job to be completed..! Since they tore out the kitchen, we're at their mercy, despite the last contract signed, that specified "Thanksgiving" being the absolute latest date they'll be working! there've been four "field supervisors" - each reassuring us that when the job is done, (whenever that may be) we'll be happy... ...Apparently, the repair work they're doing is hypnotic with amnesia-like after effects; because there's a slim to none chance that we'll end up happy and "slim's" leaving town!! ugh! Do not believe whatever they say; it's bull! Do not hire - they'll do more damage than repair.!.! They leave the trash or whatever they rip out right on your lawn/porch/whatever's near-by, even after(!) you've told them about your h.o.a. warning you to remove the mountain of debris that's an eye-sore..! **(Update) I've now (FINALLY) got Sterling OUT, their minimal work being done. Being that I agreed to "update" their review once they left, I'm doing just that. I signed (with footnote of how work was NOT done in timely fashion) a form that in a nutshell said "I am satisfied with the work done by Sterling". The job-scope they covered; barely. So meanwhile, I STILL have to get the cabinets put back in, marble replaced, and probably counter-tops (and island) replaced; all of which was removed (demolished) by Sterling. They pitched us for them doing the work on the cabinets and marble etc.. but the only satisfaction of the work they did was getting them OUT - and we CERTAINLY didn't want them back on a NEW job. So, as agreed, I've "updated" my review. - and I did it on a Sterling time-frame; days if not weeks AFTER I said I would. See notes above for my opinion of this company. ("Do not...") And now, because my Yelp! review told THE TRUTH, one of their (many) field supervisors, Nathan, won't stop harassing me on the phone and at my door! Only advice I can offer someone else; DO NOT HIRE THEM, or IF you do/have, include in your contract that for every day AFTER completion date, they take "x" amount of money off your total or pay to you...

Alex came out at appointed time and gave me an estimate. Repair work was done on schedule and within the estimate.

From the initial intake/quote from Reilly I was impressed with Ford's plumbing service, to the leak detection and actual repair. The entire Ford team approached and accommodated my plumbing emergency with Dino's calm urgency and honest explanation of what was happening through the whole process of performing the diagnostics and repair. The team also paid extreme attention to keeping my bedrooms and house clean and minimizing impact to my other living areas. Overall I was extremely relieved and put at ease with the service Ford provided and definitely would recommend them to anyone!
