I have known Juan for over 15 years. I first met him when he was working on a remodel on my home. Since then, I have used him to service other properties that I owned or managed. He is versatile in many areas including all aspects of home construction from the ground up. A couple of projects that he completed really impressed me with his craftsmanship, endurance and strength. Once he raised a 1970's era sunken living room floor in my home. He then covered the sub-floor with Saltillo tile. The new tile blended so well with the old tile covering the surrounding floor that you could not tell any work was done. I was very impressed and happy when he replaced large 6x10x28 foot beams underneath a deck. The old beams had rotted and he suggested and replaced them with enduring pressure-treated timber. He did this by himself very quickly without disturbing the deck flooring or railing. Working alone, Juan took much less time and cost much less money than another contractor I used previously. He carried the heavy beams in by himself. Previously, before I met Juan, another contractor did work on the same deck. He who used a crew of four. They tore off the decking and railing, damaging a lot of them, took a lot of smoke and bathroom breaks taking a lot of time and cost me a lot more money. I respect Juan on many levels. He is ethical, experienced and tireless. He works hard all day and only takes a lunch break. Whenever I would check on him, he was always working, unlike so many others.
