Coronado Peephole Installation

Steve was on time (actually early, believe it or not!) and was efficient and cleaned up after very well. Some additional work had been requested, but he was unable to do what we wanted, because we weren't aware of what was involved to perform the job. Steve was honest and gave us a heads up, so we would know what to expect if we wanted the work done. We have 2 dogs (one is a jack russell and kind of aggressive) but he was patient with them and us! We will definitely offer him more work and hope he can fit it into his busy schedule!

It took a couple of reschedules, but Andres showed up on time.  We reviewed the list of tasks and had to eliminate two of them because one task required putting holes on City property and the other was due to my not having the appropriate frame for a vanity mirror. Andres was very efficient and did a good job of cleaning up after each task.  I would use his services again, but would make sure I had all the necessary supplies to complete the tasks and enough work for 4 hrs.  The job took less than 3 hrs.

Went well. All door needed was to be adjusted, roller was loose. Did not have to remove door. Francisco was very careful to clean up and to let him know of anymore problems wilth the door.

I asked Jamie to hang 3 bedroom doors. I had already purchased the pre-hung doors (with frames around door with hinges in place). I wanted him to remove the doors from the pre-hung frames, mortice the hinge plate on the existing frames, and install new hardware on the doors. The new doors were 3-hinge and the old frames were only 2-hinge. He did a fantastic beautiful job. The new doors fit perfectly, latched perfectly, were in perfect alignment and he cut the doors so the sill space at he bottom of the doors was the same. And I think the price was just right. Definitely hire again. In fact I did!

Front door would not latch and was binding in the door frame. Mr. Purscelley set appointment to repair door. He came at time scheduled and adjusted the door so that it closed and latched properly. He was friendly and skilled.

Coughlin Windows & Doors came out and advised us on patio door options. We agreed on a install date and the doors were installed. We are very happy with the whole process of getting the old doors replaced. We highly recommend Coughlin to anyone wanting replacement windows and doors.

I reached out to Jarad a few weeks ago to move the entrance of a bathroom from a bedroom to the hallway and frankly it couldn't of gone any better. Not only does the finished product look incredible, but really the entire process of working with them to get to this point couldn't of been easier. Jarad is super easy to communicate with, flexible on timing, and was willing to take the time to answer a bunch of questions I had. I mean bottom line the work they did speaks for itself but I didn't expect that level of customer service. I knew I was in really good hands when Jarad asked if we were planning on installing shelving where we once had the door. He was framing the wall and blocked exactly where we plan to anchor the shelves. He even texted me the elevations with a photo before we put the drywall up. For a room that's going to be a nursery... it went a long ways. Thanks again!

It is always wonderful to find a contractor who will bend over backward to get you exactly what you ask for. That has been my experience with Action Window and Door. I needed to replace my pantry door because my children would ding the refrigerator door against the pantry door knob. I’ve always wanted a chalkboard pantry door, but I didn’t want the knob to stick out as it did before. I explained this to David of Action Window and Door and they solved the problem with a custom-made door using a magnetic mechanism instead of a twist-and-turn door knob. Wow! Also, as we have two schnoodles I wanted a screen door that would incorporate a pet door within it—of course something you couldn’t buy at Home Depot or Lowes, right? I tried to purchase the insert for the sliding door but the size recommended for my 8’ door didn’t seem to fit properly, plus it looked awkward so I returned it to the store. Again, Action Window and Door finds a way to make it work! Alex, the Lead Installer, installs a pet guard to “pet-proof” my screen and devices a way to incorporate the pet door. Now, we’re ready to welcome the cool summer breeze sans bugs, and the dogs can still come in and out of the house. Finally, I wanted to install a security screen door for the garage door so I can leave the door open while working out in the garage. As the jamb (the frame around the door) was falling apart from weather damage, Alex installed a new jamb and then installed my new security screen door. I definitely highly recommend Action Window and Door. I will certainly use them again when I need work done. I thought the price they charged me for all the work was very reasonable and within budget since it was pretty much custom-made to my needs; plus, everything was done in a timely manner.

Garage door frame was damaged while parking a vehicle. James removed and replaced the broken 2x4 strengthening the door and secured the role-up door guide rail. Great job, I'm very satisfied.

Rene Ruiz of M&M Garage Doors came and measured my house for two new Clopay garage doors and Liftmaster 8500 garage door opener. He then provided an estimate the next day by email. The estimate was $1,845.00. This was $355.00 less than Home Depot's cost for the exact same doors and opener and installation. I made a $200.00 deposit and Rene ordered the doors on March 18. By April 17 the doors had been received from Clopay and M&M had installed them and taken away the old doors. They did a great job. And I would definitely use them again.
