AKK Builders Plumbing & Water Heaters
PG&E was replacing defective gas line to house. They found riser pipe was defective, told me, and suggested I hire a plumber to repair since not PG&E problem. I phoned AKK Builders. Very responsive. On the jobe within 2 hours. Replaced ruptured pipe. Pressure tested all gas lines and fixtures in house. Anthony Tri Le, owner and contractor did the work. Very professional, friendly. Knew exactly what needed doing and set to work immediately to do repairs. I highly recommend Anthony.

Did a great job. Very reposnsive and went the extra mile to make sure the situation was safe when they had to return the next day to complete the repair. The gas line repair was a little tricky, the leak was right where the line passed through the floor- Paul explained what current code would require and added the necessary changes during the repair, making the connection safer and easier to repair in the future. Also fixed a leak they noticed in the water heater supply while they were here.

My overall experience with Bayshore (Mario in particular) was very good but marred by two problems. On the good side of the ledger they were fast to respond, extremely courteous and professional when they arrived and did the job in a very workmanlike manner - all cuts were nice and clean, securing the pipes was done professionally and they were quick. All things that deserve an A. On the other side, the did not put things back. They simply left the dryer in the middle of the hall and left a carpet all crumpled in the garage. These are little things that make the difference. Also, I initially got a firm bid over the phone after giving a detailed description of the job to be done. When the crew arrived they did not believe I had secured a firm bid. I had to argue with them from some time. Now, perhaps the job was not bid correctly but I was given a firm bid and went with that.
