Our rooftop LG split system condensing unit stopped working in the dead of winter. We called multiple HVAC contractors from Google and Angies List and none of them could figure out what was exactly wrong and how to address the issue. After paying a ton in system evaluation service fees, we had multiple expensive quotes to replace the entire system (indoor and outdoor), which would have caused a major inconvenience to our current work from home lifestyle. Luckily, First California Appliance was called and they took the time to evaluate the system properly. They were able to easily pinpoint the exact issue and fix it without causing any added stress to our work from home schedules. I am extremely thankful that we found First California Appliance, they saved us a ton of money and a major headache.

About an hour after the repair the problem occurred again. A different technician return and replaced the thermostat which corrected the problem. They wanted to charge for both repairs even though the first repair did not correct the problem.

Recent Review: "Art" @ Mr. Reliable was just an "A" list Serviceman. Prompt, strong knowledge, very professional, strong follow-up and communication skills. I've had a few different reps look at this machine in recent years and no one hit the nail on the head like he did. He diagnosed quickly and managed warranty with the OEM. The part needed to be ordered so there was a delay in the repair. He kept strong communication with me throughout, fought through some inventory challenges with suppliers, pursued options and had the right pair for the final repair just a few days later. Can's say enough about him. Thanks Art & Mr. Reliable !

Recent Review: Never in 20 years, living in this house, have I ever had a plumber travel from Monterey, CA, to do plumbing work on a house in Gonzales, CA. I was amazed that any plumber would come to Gonzales, CA, after 20 years of repeated negative experiences. Repaired the kitchen sink faucet. Replaced two (2) outdoor faucets. Recycled the water conditioner. Serviced the heating furnace. All work completed in a most excellent fashion. The plumber was very pleasant to work with. He was terrific.
Recent Review: I called in the morning about my heater not working and they were able to fit me in on the same day for a diagnostic appointment. The technicians, Bill and Chris, are friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and super-helpful. They got my heater working again, but it's on its last leg, so Bill gave me a quote for repair, as well as for a full system replacement. There was no pressure to make a decision, which I really appreciated. It's a great experience all in all.
Super Service Award Recent Review: The ignition they came out was really great. He gave us advice. We actually ordered one that wouldn’t fit so we found the better option to choose to install in the home. It works out great. He put everything up the code pass with good fortune with flying colors. We were actually way under code beforehand and now we’re up code and I was very happy. They were in and out very quickly, really good prices, and they clean up after themselves. I like their customer service primarily. These guys are wonderful. I would definitely use them again in the future especially at home when something goes wrong definitely.
