Everything was great from the word go, but then I have come to expect nothing less from this company. James came out on a Thursday, identified the problem as well as a secondary potential problem. Since the secondary potential problem would have involved duct work that had been installed by Jay's Service Company, James assured me there would be no charge if any work needed to be done on that part. James then quoted me a solid price and ordered the part that would be required for the cooling unit. On late Friday afternoon, I received a call that the part had arrived, and was asked if a morning service call on Monday would be convenient for me. I said that it would be. On Monday morning, two young men came and fixed the problem, as well as investigated if the secondary problem (an airflow problem) existed. After I paid the bill, Robert (the young man who had installed me heating/air condition duct the previous winter, as well as the new zone thermostat) took the time to program my thermostats for my schedule, as well as explained my filter needs. All the personnel involved in fixing my problem, including phone calls from the office manager, Kayla, were professional, prompt, courteous and very, very helpful.

When he came out he was very professional and ask some very good questions as he evaluated what I had and what I needed. He had a very competitive bid (I received two) Installation was fast. He checked air flow and temperature of the air at vent to make sure the unit was performing correctly. I was very impressed. I would recommend Velvet Ridge Services and will definitely use him in the future.

Kramer's office called to notify us that Shawn was on his way to look over our system. He arrived in about 15 minutes and went right to work. We asked him to check the air deliver pipes in the attic and he did. We explained that the rear rooms weren't cooling as well as the front so he adjusted the unit to increase air flow to them. Shawn found a clog in the condensation line that smelled and could have caused problems in the future. He cleaned the pipes thoroughly and restructured them to be more efficient. He thoroughly cleaned the outdoor and indoor units and added some Freon. Shawn opened and outside condensation pipe, cleaned it out and added some pipes to it to make it function better. Before leaving Shawn checked the vents to make sure that we were receiving adequate circulation and he explained how we could keep the unit in top condition. He advised that after the repairs he made his next check up would be much easier and less time consuming. We were extremely impressed with Shawn and will recommend Kramer to all of our friends and neighbors.

Last night at around midnight, I noticed that my AC unit had been running for a while, but there was little air flow coming from the vents. When I went to look at the coils they were frozen, so I shut the unit off. First thing Saturday morning I called Paschal to see if they could get someone out and take a look at the unit. They asked me if Monday was ok, and I said i would really like to see if you could get a Tech out today. I was placed on hold, and they were able to fit me in before noon! Kudos 1. I have to say Im always a little leary of service repair technicians, but when Travis From Paschal arrived his professionalism and demeanor put me at ease. He quickly identfied the issue, and took time to explain what he was doing. He gave me some suggestions on how to make it easier to replace my air filters, b/c I didnt have the hinge return air filter grille, also I learned some tips on how to keep my unit running as efficent as possible I highly recommend Paschal, And look forward to having them as a HVAC service provider. Keep up the Good work Travis!

Recent Review: lOn Friday, June 20 my air conditioning system dropped off severely in output. I celled Paschal, who sent a technician out within two hours. After checking the system and finding a restriction that caused internal pressures to fluctuate, the problem was diagnosed as a plugged expansion valve, which was replaced resulting in no improvement. The problem is beginning to look more complex than it had originally appeared. The technician called his supervisor to get another opinion as many problems can result in these symptoms. After several hours of tests and inspections, it was discovered that insulation had fallen into the electronic air cleaning system and severely restricted air flow. The offending material was removed and problem resolved. The company would accept no compensation beyond the original service call as they said I had been through enough stress and they wanted me to be comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Paschal as there are very few service companies these days that admit mistakes and correct them without exorbitant labor charges.
