NORTH POLE CONTRACTORS INC

They were very polite when I called for an estimate their services. They came out a couple days later and looked around the house. They gave me an estimate right there and a video to look at so I would know exactly what they were going to do, also they gave me a folder so I could go ahead and pick out my colors (that was the fun part). As soon I signed it and faxed them the contract they started painting my house. It took them around 2 weeks due to weather but everyone (crew, office and owner) was very nice and answered any questions that I had.

Bob was wonderful. He was very efficient and communicated well with us his timeline. He was onsite doing most of the work himself and had help to keep the project moving along. Everybody was very friendly and professional. We completely changed the color of our house and had some major peeling issues and all the trim color was changed too. This required extra time to get 2 coats on the trim by hand and do lots of small areas that needed touching up. He completely prepped all areas that needed extra care and did some major caulking around the house, covered all window and decking and was careful not to get the new paint everywhere. All cleanup was done on the last day leaving us with a perfectly clean, updated look to our house. We are very pleased. A great value.

Complete painting service

I call three different company for estimate and complete painting service was only company that came on time. They start with power wash and they even clean our rain gutter for us. They scrape off peeling paint, prime all the bare woods, and put 2 coats of paints like what they told us. Crews were very friendly, and professional. Clean up was very nice. I highly recommend complete painting service.

Paint Anchorage
4.0
Having used Paint Anchorage to paint my house exterior where they did an excellent job, I decided to use them to stain my fence, and front and back decks. Did an excellent job in washing and prepping these areas for staining. In executing the actual staining, Paint Anchorage fell a little short. The first guy they sent over to do the work failed to show up at all, the second guy (Keith) that showed up didn't have the necessary stain amount to actually do the job plus he was reluctant to stain one portion of the fence because he couldn't use his sprayer to do the job. The second guy showed up really late the next evening, stained the area he was reluctant to stain the night before - he was mad that he had to be there at all and had to use a roller to do it. But he still did not finish the job - he forgot to stain the entire back portion of the fence. He indicated to me that he was done with the job and told the owner of Paint Anchorage that he finished the work. Upon examining the work the next day, you could see the areas that he missed. The owner of Paint Anchorage to his credit showed up very quickly after my phone call and immediately acknowledged the missed areas. The second guy came back later that evening and finished the job after explaining to me that I had no idea what I was looking at because he didn't miss staining any area etc., causing him grief with the owner dues to my " lies / review" about his job performance. Overall the quick responsiveness of the owner and his desire to make it right was a big plus in my eyes, but his decision to keep sending the same individual back was not the right call. I have no problem using Paint Anchorage again except for the second guy is no longer welcome.

Recent Review: Edwin of KAT Mgmt Svcs did an excellent job refinishing the front exterior of my house. He was punctual, polite, professional and I would undoubtedly call him again for any service. He performed the job as described promptly and did not take any shortcuts. He did an excellent job and I was impressed and I received many compliments from my neighbors on how nice the work was done.

Recent Review: Our nearly 20 year old back deck was tilting from possible frost heave through the years, and railings were coming loose. We needed it replaced. We received an estimate from Steve Thomas in the fall 2012, but weather prevented further work. We called in the spring 2013, and we were flexible for a start date, given weather and other jobs his crew had. The deck is about 10x20 elevated about 7 feet above ground in the back of our house. The construction work lasted one week. Demolition was done quickly and very professionally the first day. All old wood, etc. was removed and the area policed at the end of the day. Upon demolition, several rotten side boards were found that we agreed should be replaced. Construction lasted through the week. The construction was very well done, with screws, rather than nails, waterproofing boards connected to the house, sufficient lumber where needed. I was extremely pleased with the crew: Carlos, who took the old deck down and was the lead on construction; and Jeremy, who worked on the construction. Both are very professional, conscientious, and first rate at their work. I was very pleased to have them. Steve Thomas brought materials, checked with me and the crew during the day concerning any questions, and removed the demolished pieces. Deck staining took place about a week later, after the new lumber dried a bit. The deck looks so much better than I expected, and much more than the previous deck when it was newer.
