Apartment empty all day with water running. Flooded upstairs and down. Very prompt response, excellent initial efforts. Careful work saved repair expense.

I had a water leak in my laundry room and called my insurance company. The insurance company said it was not covered. I found Dry Out Systems of Alaska through a friend, they came in and took a look at my water damage and mold issue. After talking with me they said that it should be covered by my insurance. They placed equipment and signed me up, with a contingency that if it was not covered that the first 3 days would be free. They called and said they and an insurance adjuster would be coming out the next day. Andy talked with the adjuster and was able to show that the loss was covered with the exception of the mold. Dry Out Systems billed for what they could, and didn't charge for the mold cleanup. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Dry Out Systems informed me of all the money that I should be reimbursed for: (electric bill, labor I did, personal items lost, etc.). Once all the clean up work was complete, they advised me on companies to do the repairs, or to do them myself. I asked why they didn't provide this service. Their response completely made sense, it is a conflict of interest. If they got paid to do repairs then the could dry for several days, then tear out the structure they dried and double dip.

I was impressed with the dry out people. but once it came to fixing the damage nothing was done right the first time. Not to mention no one showed up for the scheduled appointment for the final carpet cleaning. communication was very poor throughout the company. I kept getting bills that should have been sent to the insurance company. The entire process for a leak in the ceiling from the condo above me took from November 2012 to August 2013 to complete the work.

We had some flooding in our house. We contacted our Insurance Company and they gave us a list of people, and then we contacted this company. Taylored Restoration were pretty good. Due to the cold temperatures they still have to come back and clean our carpets. They were here right away after we contacted them. They gave a quick estimate and it was already approved by the Insurance Company which was good. The people who came were good. There were some little things they could have done better. I'm being nitpicky. He was pretty knowledgeable. I would probably use them in the future, but I would ask more questions.

Upstairs bath water leak with about 400 gallons of water ran into kitchen below. Entire kitchen removed down to studs. They responded within 45 minutes of calling them and had kitchen gutted within 2 hours. Dehumidifiers were placed in all areas affected. Reconstruction went pretty smoothly. We had old Sheetrock with asbestos joint compound that needed removal, hazmat team brought in. New Sheetrock, cabinets, tile and paint. There are always issues with obtaining materials and coordination when you are building. Henry's did a good job of keeping us updated and responding to immediate concerns. Workman were reliable and showed pride in workmanship. We are pleased with the results.

We had a hose burst on our hot water heater which flooded our basement (movie room and kids playroom) with roughly 2and quot; of water. They promptly sent a representative to assess and begin work, who called the necessary people to come help. The quickly removed the water, moved all of my stuff upstairs, removed all the doors and molding, and set up more than enough blowers and dehumidifiers to get the job done. They checked on the work daily, and continuously asked if there was more that they could do to help. They were clean, courteous, and extremely efficient and helpful- I couldn't have asked for more. Andy was especially helpful- he advised us on what should and could be claimed for insurance coverage, and worked with us so that their price didn't exceed our coverage. I couldn't have been happier, and recommend them without reservation. I would gladly use their services again in the event of another water-damage event.

I had a water flood in my basement that had just been refurbished. They were right there just hours after I called and this was after 5 at night! They did a very professional job and explain all about the mold that could occur and other problems that could occur and what they could do to prevent it and came back three times to insure the job was done right. I had used them before to clean the carpets and they did an excellent job and I will be using them again.

They were very friendly, and responded very fast. The pipes had frozen and caused water damage. Time is of the essence in these situations especially when it's a rental. I was amazed at how fast the unit got turned around. They handled the water clean up and lined up the rest of the contractors to get everything else fixed so the renter could come back home.

All the work was performed by one employee (whose name I have forgotten). He was prompt and efficient, very professional demeanor. I appreciated very much his efforts to clean up after his work and he demonstrated respect for me and my home in every way. He took time to explain to me what could be the hidden consequences of the flooding, such as mold damage, odor, etc. My condo association paid for this initial phase of cleanup, so I'm unaware of the costs.

We purchased our home, which was a pre-forclosure, and came into it to have the gas checked and that's when we discovered water running from one side of the kitchen to the other (first time buyers nightmare). It ended up going down the wall downstairs too. Dry Out Systems came in and helped not with just all of the physical assistance, but assisted with giving us confidence in the process. They were excellent and not only will I call them again, but I have referred them to several other friends in their time of 'emergency' needs. As long as I live in Alaska they will be my first call for all of our water damage needs.
