This man is a scammer! Run Away While You Can! He lied and took the money of a military family with a pregnant wife and toddler whose husband was gone for most weeks. If he feels no conscious scamming us then everyone is at risk to lose money and have their homes damaged by this man. This has been a nightmare experience. Both our bathrooms were gutted for this job meaning that we had no shower or bath upstairs and were living with only a half bath and a camp shower on our back deck,. After 6 weeks of constant let down and being nowhere close to a completion date, I was seriously questioning the quality of work I was seeing and the integrity of this company. I called in additional licensed contractors to get some opinions on the work. We have now had 2 plumbing contractors and the city inspector say it is some of the worst plumbing they have seen. Illegal joints and connections, zero venting for all drains, improper materials used, drains sloping up from the outlet and not down. Air is now in the baseboards and we are having to fix that as well. The electrician that came by said the electrical was also not to code and Denali windows came by and confirmed that the windows were installed in the wrong orientation and without headers. The absolute worst part of this is that our structure has now been compromised. They drilled into the supporting joists for plumbing and positioned the holes so that the joists now need to be replaced or have sister joists attached. I'm still waiting for an estimate on how much this would cost. Darryl is a licensed general contractor with the state, not the city, and is not licensed to perform plumbing or electrical work. If you decide to hire him, even after this review, demand to see the licenses of any plumber and electrician that turns up at your house. Even if all this had not happened, they have been behind schedule at every turn. Some days no one worked at all while other days they might have been here for 1 - 2 hours. The drywall was patched badly and the texture effect very sloppy. We have had issues with damage done to the ceiling beneath the bathroom, electrical wires cut and effecting lighting in the rest of the house. We were told we were a priority but 7 weeks later my family are still taking camp showers on our back deck. We have fired Darryl and are now collecting evidence in case the legal action is needed. We have hired a new company and are just hoping that we can get the bathrooms completed and done right. UPDATE *** After months of Darryl telling us he would do the right thing and reimburse us, we finally realized he was full of lies and just trying to cheat his way out of all costs. He would cancel meeting us at the last minute or say he didn't receive our emails. Unfortunately, in the end, we had to use a lawyer to finally get an agreement that we would be reimbursed for the cost of all repairs needed to correct the work Cornerstone had done. Total cost of repairs - over 30,000. This does not include the 18000 we had given him for the work performed. I did not get the impression that we would get any money from them until legal matters were started and I am saddened that it had to come to that. We gave Darryl nearly 4 months to be a good guy and do the right thing before going to a lawyer. I was also very pregnant by the end of all this, yes I was 3 months pregnant when they started the work, and legal action was the last option. UPDATE #2*** He signed a contract to cover all costs on the very last day of summons. Since then we have had late repayments, more lies, and a bounced check. Looks like we'll be seeing this guy in court.

Excellent work. James Adams really worked hard and independently. He came with numerous ideas that ultimately saved me money. He was flexible and reasonable in design modifications and performed work on time. I recommend him highly.

We moved into a home that had gone under a bathroom renovation just prior to the sale. After living in the home for around year we started noticing the drywall and baseboards next to the tub/shower starting to erode. The drywall was crumbling, the baseboards (made with MDF) started to swell, mold started showing up and the floor tile started showing signs of water damage. We contacted the contractor and the first person that inspected it said it was due to water leaking into the back of the tub surround and it would probably need to be replaced, as the damage would continue to get worse. He said he would talk to his boss and see what he was willing to do although he stated he would likely fix the issue as he wants to make his customers happy. We were offered the option of ordering a new tub surround, paid for out of our own pocket and we could pay them to reinstall it. We did not agree with this so the owner himself, Garrett came out to inspect the damage. He stated that the only reason we had these water damage issues was because our bathroom did not have a ventilation fan. It does have a window and the house is over 40 years old and has never had one. He stated all damage was due to this reason. We did not agree and hired a licensed plumber to assess the situation as we knew water had to be leaking into the wall from somewhere. It turns out the shower faucet and diverter were installed completely wrong, according to the manufacturers clear instructions. They were not set back in the wall as they were intended and stuck out 1 1/2 inches too far and the diverter did not sit flush with the shower surround. There was a significant gap on one side, large enough to put a screw driver tool into the gap. This was disguised with caulking. Not only should there not have been a reason to have caulking there, they also used incorrect caulking and it did not hold up, so water was slowly seeping in the crack and causing damage every time someone took a shower. Extremely disappointing to buy a home with a new renovated bathroom and have it deteriorate in just over a year. Obviously they did not use a licensed plumber to install the plumbing fixtures and have not offered to repair and replace all the damaged areas on their dime. If you hire this company, please be very aware of who is actually doing the work in your home, and don't expect them to come back and fix any errors they may make.

The bathroom remodel was great. The bathroom was taken apart and couldn’t be used. After they finished everything was taken care of and it was all work able and looked amazing.

Reliable Remodels
My hall bathroom was stuck in the 1970s with cheap, contractor grade materials. I hired Nathaniel to replace virtually everything. All was replaced except the vanity cabinet, which was refinished instead. Nathaniel's work was professional and courteous at all times. The work was performed with quality at a high value. I did not go overboard with material cost, but made smart choices from Lowes and Home Depot offerings. My objective was to have a good bathroom remodel without going overboard on price. Nathaniel delivered on that objective. The work was performed on time and within budget. I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Reliable Remodels.

As always they were a joy to deal with, fast, and their work was flawless. As always their estimates were far below what I expected, or what others asked. And of course they saw a few things around the house in working that they just fixed on their own. I cannot begin to say how much I have come to value their work and our working relationship. These two are simply the best.

Brian was very prompt about returning calls, and he and Anthony arrived on time and installed the fans, including trim around the ceiling where the old fans had been cut out. We are very happy with the fans and with the quality of service. Definitely will call them again when we have another project. Pricing seemed reasonable.

Recent Review: Very well. Stacey was very punctual and meticulous with his work. We had a slight water leak after the work was done and he was on top of it for no charge. I will use him again in the future for sure. He is excellent at tile work.
Business Description: Professional Background: For the past 10 years he has been working in the plumbing and heating field starting at Diamond Heating, then Moore Heating and Air and then Arctic Chain Plumbing and Heating, working for them for 8 years. From that time he gained his journeyman’s licensing through the municipality and the state. Customers that have had the pleasure of having him in their homes have not been disappointed. His knowledge, professional demeanor, skills and quality of work has been something that has both represented the company that he has worked for well, but has given him a name in homes as a technician that not only is honest and clear in his diagnoses and recommendations, but has the skillset to get the job done right. Company Background: After working in this field for 10 years he has had a dream, much like many hard working Americans, to one day work for himself and have his own business so that all the hard work he puts into establishing a good reputation goes to something that is his, his business. On that dream, with considerable risk involved he began to pursue it, getting his contractors licensing, and business licensing, bonding and general liability. He did not want to be a “fly by night” organization so he worked hard in gaining necessary liabilities and licensing to give customers comfort in knowing they can trust him for plumbing and heating repairs/service and small general contracting jobs. Company Information: Call us at Turner Maintenance whether you have a clogged drain, no heat or are in need of plumbing repairs or services. Turner Maintenance offers 24 hour emergency services. If your call is not answered right away, we may be on another call/jobsite, leave a detailed message with your contact information and we will return your call as soon as we can. The service call rate is affordable and there are no overtime/double-time or holiday fees. Turner Maintenance is a licensed, bonded and insured company. Give us a call today and you will not be disappointed. We would love the chance to EARN your business and trust. Recent Review: Very pleased Chuck, owner, worked with us to select and order all proucts and supplies prior to starting demolition. Made sure everything was here before beginning project. Once staarted worked through till the project was done. The only down time was when had to wait for something to dry or set. Great to work with. Good about making suggestions on how things coulld be done to make project look or work a bit better. All the people working for him are very neat and clean both in their work and their personnal hygiene. Every night when finished they would take a few minutes to clean up. Because they had to track through the housse they were respectful of the whole house.
