The product is an almost bulletproof type of plastic around ten times thicker than vinyl siding. The color is throughout the product so it won't chip or wear off ever. It is quite attractive. It looks at least as good as cement fiberboard but does not need painting ever. Mason's leads you through the entire process explaining everything and holding your hand if necessary (our job was a pain in the butt because it took over a year for us to make up our minds). During our year of research they provided a large list of houses they had sided and addresses. We drove by these houses to look and even talked to some of the owners. People were happy to tell us how much they liked the product and the service. We did consider vinyl at one point but I strongly feel that one dent or separated seam ruins the appearance of an entire wall of the house. These craftsmen can do complex jobs with lots of corners or angles and make it look brand new. We now have the best looking house in our neighborhood. The product is not cheap but it is completely worry-free. Their attention to detail is impressive.
