A week before Christmas, I'm ready to do my baking for friends' presents. I discover my oven is not working on the Bake setting at all (won't light, but I don't smell gas ether). More puzzling, the broiler is working and so are the burners. I've had gas ovens before and never encountered this. Turns out this is fairly common, but I'd initially worried it was a gas feed or the whole unit would need to be replaced. I called Phil at All Brands since he was local to my area, and he called me back in less than an hour! (How many times does THAT happen when you call a repair service? It's a new one on me.) This was 5pm at night and he was able to give me his last appointment slot for the following day. He was very professional, called before arriving to let me know he was on his way, arrived promptly, the problem was exactly what he'd diagnosed on the phone based on my description. It was the ignition device specific to the oven bake setting, which was much cheaper to replace, even with the labor cost, than to purchase a new oven right before Christmas. He fixed it quickly and allowed me to pay him via my bill pay service, which was most convenient for me. Extremely professional, pleasant, and speedy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
