Instead of replacing the wheels with cheap ones he found roller bearing wheels and installed them. In 13 years since the door was new it never opened with such ease. My 8 year old was concerned that a wind storm would be able to open the door now. My neighbor just spent $1,800 on a new door that doesn't come close to opening as easy as mine does. I've used this company two weeks in a row now and couldn't be happier with the quality timeliness of each job they've done for me. I will definantly call them for the next project. Charles Evan

I had a bad leak during a storm in one of my rental properties. John responded immediately and repaired the roof but the tenant did not want the repair done on the inside wall of the house because she would have to clear out some of her belongings. As soon as the tenant moved out he returned and repaired the affected walls in addition to other minor repairs I needed done before advertising the rental. The job turned out to be more elaborate than the estimate but John absorbed the additional hours and stayed with his estimate. He is returning tomorrow to replace a window for me. Even though he stays busy, he usually is able to get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. John does quality work and I trust him to stand by his word and his work

Darin came out on the day after the 4th of July in a horrible rain storm to check out our system when it quit. It was also after normal business hours, but he made time to come. He thoroughly checked our system out and explained that it was the compressor and explained our options to us without any pressure. We ended up having him quote us a new system that very night. When he left he did not even charge us for the service call! Darin installed a new Heat Pump / AC system for us over the next week. He did a great job and got it done when he said he would. We have been very happy with the system ever since. I would highly recommend Darin and his company. He is definitely a man of integrity in how he does business

The Sure Fix LLC
The estimate was 7/20 and work started 8/6/2012. The work was delayed due to rain once for a week and a half. The carpentry was done first and looked great. There was a delay of 11 days for rain. Did have to remind to pressure wash after started to tape to paint. Not good about showing up on days stated would be there. The painting done well looked good. After done noticed four places that were cracked. They stated would be back next week to scrap, caulk, and repaint a eave and paint the front stoop. $200 left to pay on final bill for this. It has now been 2 weeks 4 days and they have not been back. Weather good too. Meanwhile so disgusted about the cracked paint I scraped sanded then Primed and chaulked the areas myself.. Painted them after two weeks of no show. Two of the bad areas I had pointed out on before they started the job-where the porch connected to the roof. Good painting but lousy prep work. The front stoop still not done and need an adjustment to front storm door. So hope they will come back for that and remaining $200 balance on the bill

When I initially contacted Henderson Handyman Services, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had to leave a message and wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait for return call. Not only did Alison return my call the same day, she was extremely helpful and provided me a rough estimate on the phone. When Shawn arrived at my home to begin the work, I knew immediately that I had picked the right company. He and his co-worker (Shawn) were very professional, friendly, and efficient. They had my microwave installed in no time and even fixed my storm door on the way out! You're never sure what you're going to get when you contact a "Handyman Service", but if today's experience is any indication of the type of quality of service I can expect in the future, I'll be a happy repeat customer for years to come

A VERY NICE CONSTRUCTION CO
Roger is friendly, thorough and understands our needs. As we are not on site all the time, he communicates over the phone and email and we meet with him monthly so far. There is a ton of work for him and he fits us in between his other regular clients. We are delighted with this arrangement as it allows Roger to work at his own pace once we set the priorities. We were happy to have a working bathroom and finished bedroom for our stay last week, and all the money we saved on hotels will go to Roger for future renovations to the house. During the last storm he discovered a leak and kept it from destroying our carpets. He is meticulous and cleans up after his work. We are very pleased with Roger and just wish we were his only clients! During the winter, you need to schedule him in advance. We are expecting Roger to assist with a complete kitchen renovation as well as a patio slab and specialized patio roof, and a complete roof repair all after the first of the year. I just wish he could clone himself for us..

American Handyman Service LLC
Herb the owner (?) of American Handyman was personable and business like on the phone, however his employee wasn't all that good. His painting skill were excellent but he was so slow. When it cam to installing the molding he failed. There are places where the molding has came off the wall, big gaps between the quarter round and flat molding. When I contacted Herb by e-mail (my phone went out during the recent storms and I didn't know it) he had the employee contact me to see why I was unhappy. Ironically this was his last day with the company. He claimed he did a great job painting and even did touch up for me. My complaint about the molding he answered me by saying the wall was crooked and he told me. Yes he did but when anyone else puts down molding and there are gaps you use calking to fill in the gaps then feather in paint. The employees' response was I didn't tell him that I wanted him to calk and repaint the molding. I feel like I paid way too much for half the work

Work went well used approx. 40 bags of 80 pound pre-mix cement. The work was completed within two hours, clean-up was neat and tidy. Finish was OK, I troweled slab to a finer finish after "Wildcats" departed. Overall was a good job considering the difficulty in reaching the site.
