Matt worked two full days for us, arriving on time, working diligently the entire time. The man who custom built our doors helped him move the doors into position, since the doors were very heavy, but Matt did all the framing, trim work, hardware, etc. First Matt installed the trim for both doors. Then he positioned the doors within the trim. Then he installed the handles and locks. Since these doors cost 4 figures each, it is an indication of Matt's skill level and the trust the designer had in him that Matt does this work for him. If the doors are not installed exactly plumb, or if the holes are not drilled in exactly the correct places 3-dimensionally, then these very expensive art glass and mahogany doors would have been ruined. Matt figured out how to installed the handles and locks and installed them beautifully. He cut trim pieces to fit. He installed insulation around the trim. He also helped us design a threshold with a slope on each side that would be easier to use for wheel chairs, mop buckets, etc. We also asked him to make a minor repair needed on our kitchen cabinetry, which he did rapidly and excellently. Since we are getting older, we have a to-do list about a mile long for Matt.
