Soop arrived and went right to work. He checked the A/C unit inside, explained what he was doing and answered my questions on how to have it run most efficiently. He inspected the exhaust fan outside, and then checked the temperatures at all the inside vents. Soop was efficient, never stopped working and covered everything other techs have and more. He was patient and informative the entire visit. B & J is the best HVAC company I've ever hired and Owner Amy Adolph is always ready to help.

Found no power going to the furnace, had to replace the bad switch. Got the furnace going and noticed the blower motor making noise but said it was fine and in the mean time was checking for carbon monoxide.

The owner had to reschedule my furnace check-up from my original appointment that was set up in October due to it still being so warm, and it would have been warm for the technician to be up in the attic (and also warm to run the furnace for a bit). At the newly scheduled appointment, the technician (Ron) arrived as scheduled and immediately began checking the furnace in the attic. He noticed part of my furnace loose and tightened it to help it run more efficiently. He also looked at the a/c. I very much appreciated to the time Ron took to look at both of the units. I will definitely use Fairways Heating and Cooling again to have the a/c serviced in the spring.

Everyone at B & J was very professional. Our furnace had become very unreliable and it's problems were not corrected the "Rite Way." Dean, from B & J, arrived on time to provide an estimate and was knowledgeable about the furnace and other options we discussed. No high pressure sales. His bid was the least of three. Tony and Adam arrived on time two days later and had a new furnace in and running in about four hours. We've been very pleased with the company. They definitely knew how to treat their customers the right way.

Waited 1.5 weeks to find repair parts for a 41 year old electric furnace. When we found that they are no longer available, estimate/quote for a new, replacement furnace was submitted within a day and the work was done three working days later.

Our heater quit on Sunday morning. Called Insurance Co. Monday. Got appointment with A&M for Tuesday morning. Two men arrived at 11:30am. Very clean. Very courteous. Very knowledgeable. Went to work immediately. Disassembled heater, and found burned and disconnected wire at heater coil. Re-connected wire, tested the heater, reassembled the heater, vacuumed the carpet, and were gone in less than an hour. This is our second experience with this company, and we are very pleased with their performance.

Recent Review: Wonderful experience! Recent Review: It went great! I had a scheduled vacation and of course my unit goes out!!! DC was gracious enough in the Tucson summer to come asap. I was able to leave the state for my trip and came back to a nice cool home.

Recent Review: Perry's accommodated our scheduling request. The service technician was on time, pleasant, and completed the work efficiently. I can't ask for more than that. We purchased the annual service agreement that we thought was a good value (note however that the Angie's List coupon cannot be used for purchase of the annual service agreement).

Recent Review: Be aware that the person who comes to do the estimate seems very knowledgable and friendly but will not have any connection with the work crew that subsequently arrives. What they promise may not be what the installation entails. He did seem very knowledgable about these systems. There is no local number to contact but only a 1-800 number. I did use it once and got a very nice woman who promised that the crew was scheduled to arrive shortly (they did not). To be fair to the installers, they seemed over booked and over stretched. Our two had to come from a city that was a two hour commute within the bay area every day. On the scheduled day they did not arrive until 2PM. They had to work on another job first. That was the first identified problem I had. They are booked by somebody else with no flexibility. So once their time is up, they have to move on. They did not have the time to start so dropped off the equipment, walked the site and left. The next day they did not arrive until 11:30 AM to start. They seemed comfortable with the job which was fairly straight forward compared to some, although the installation was in an awkward locale and there needed to be a long run of the electrical service. Being forewarned from prior reviews, I stayed around to guide the work such as indicating how and where I wanted lines to run, etc. Both Dustan and his assistant were extremely nice and courteous.. They put down drop cloths, took off shoes before entering, etc. After an initial installation of the electrical conduit, Dustan said he did not like the way it looked, so redid it over so that it was much better. I really appreciated that level of detail. Unfortunately they ran out of time before it got dark. They had two hours left and could not complete this in darkness. He promised to come back in 4 days (weekend) and gave me his cell phone number which I suspect is not standard practice, but he seemed to feel bad they had not finished. We spoke the next day and he told me his boss had other plans for him and that he could come in a week only. That day did not work for me so we ended up rescheduling for three weeks out as his first available time. So I had a non-functioning system for the entire time. I crawled down the hill and put plastic bags over the lines and conduits to protect them from the rain and dirt for that length of time. He did return on the appointed time (I phoned his own number to confirm and remind him) and the work was completed in 2.5 hours. He took the time to show me how the system worked. He did not know everything about it. A filter was left over and he said he had no idea what it was for. I read the manual and within five minutes had it installed myself. The system has worked great and we are pleased thus far after several weeks. I did have to patch some drill holes on my own. We were forced to buy a first years maintenance contract so I will be interested if they will actually come out at 6 and 12 months. It may be more trouble than it is worth. All in all, the installers were very good and seemed familiar with this type of work, but were badly managed so that it ruined the full experience. This could have been installed in one day. I felt bad for the installers who seemed somewhat like pawns in the process. They were conscientious and hard-working but not given enough time. I had been told by the estimator that they did have an understaffing problem in the bay area (too many jobs and not enough crew). I still got the feeling that it was more about selling product with the installation as an after-thought. I have received the permit forms in the mail and need to schedule the county inspection. I do not know yet how easy that will be. If the inspection shows any problems, I do not know how responsive the company will be to make corrections. So this review has that caveat.

Recent Review: Absolute was the designated contractor for AC/heating under our home warranty now expired. They had provided service earlier this year on our air conditioning air unit under the warranty which went very well - Ernie, who is a very good technician, diagnosed a blockage in the drainage system at that time and after a great deal of effort managed to clear it. And he was equally knowledgeable and quick at diagnosing and treating the heating issue this time. Highly recommended, at least if Ernie is representative of their technical staff.
