Andrew arrived on time, fixed both the chip in the marble counter-tops in the bathroom as well as the discolorations on the bathroom tiles. Neither repair was straight forward and yet he found a means to repair both. My only (minor) complaint was that he was going to send me a quote for a complete tile/grout clean up and he has as of yet not done so. However, since I do have his contact information, I will do so when I am ready.

HOME DEPOT

The Home Depot associate was very helpful and explained in detail what to expect and what I needed to do to prepare for the installation. The installer was on time, professional, and cleaned up afterwords. However, a few days later, when the light was "just right", I noticed two flaws in the edge of the countertop. I called the installer and the defects were repaired with no argument. A few days after that I discovered that the dishwasher had not been screwed back into the countertop. Again, I called the installer and they fixed it the same day. So, apart from two rather minor glitches, I am very happy with my countertops and the installation.

Mr. Vasile did an outstanding job! We had extensive repairs in the kitchen and garage and he was able to correct our problems in a very short period of time. His prices were very reasonable and he was always on time. He's a pleasure to do business with and his family members were very hard workers, too. We highly recommend this family business!

The roof leaked after a year and they said they would repair the drywall inside initially but they stopped responding to emails and text.

Dawid was very quick to contact me after I inquired on Angie’s list. He was also very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. Was able to work with our tight schedule and even fixed some of the countertop prep work the crew Home Depot brought in to prepare for new countertops. The backsplash looks great and I would highly recommended him for any home improvement work.

Our first contact with Pusch Ridge was with Frank LaPerre at the Tucson Home Show. Frank was very knowledgable and spent a large amount of time with us in defining just what we wanted to do as well as providing great advice on selecting the granite for the kitchen. Frank is a great people-person. Because Pusch Ridge is a General Contractor, they were able to do the electrical, plumbing, tiling and drywall repair, etc. My understanding was the plumber and the electrician were Pusch ridge employees. Their work was good. They did sub out the floor tiling to a company they trusted and I was very pleased with the skill and speed in the installation of the tile. The drywall repair was subbed as well and the individuals who did the repairs were excellant. The Project Manager, Tony, always stayed in touch with us and kept us appraised as to the comings and goings of his various crews. At least up until we questioned the finished edge of the granite. The granite we had selected had a resin finish from the quarry. After the edges were cut and shaped to the desired finish, the true color of the granite was exposed. This was an obvious lighter color than the granite top. Initially I was told to not worry, the edge would darken on it's own. After researching and questioning this, Frank stepped in and assurred us he would fix this to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, it took several months for them to finally stain/dye the edges. The color is not a match but it is better than it was. Overall, I was happy with most the work they did. I cannot recommend the granite installer because of the problems we had with our slab. Maybe it was just our poor luck to pick a granite with a finish on it but I feel, with the declared level of experience the granite installer had, this problem should have been resolved before the granite was ever delivered to the house. I think they were hoping to install the granite as is and not have the customer question the edges. I made the mistake of making final payment on the project immediately. So I think there was little incentive to put this problem high on their list. But I do have to give kudos to Frank for pushing to get this problen resolved. Overall, a mixed review. They did a lot of good stuff but I can't help my opinion being tainted by the granite issue.

Overall, everything went well with the exception of the engineered quartz (Silestone) countertops. We were told that it would take 2 weeks from the time of making the template to the time of installation--it was close to 4 weeks. Then, too many holes were cut out for the plumbing (even though the faucet was there) and that portion of countertop had to be removed and replaced (another week and a half). We had the induction cooktop recessed to be flush with the countertops and apparently when this happened one corner actually sat higher than the rest of the cooktop. Someone came out and made some adjustments to fix this--but apparently nobody else on the team knew this. We were requesting that something be done about the gap around the cooktop in the quartz, but everyone else was thinking that we were talking about the unevenness of the cooktop (which had been fixed)--anyway, it took another 2 weeks to get someone to the house to realized what we were talking about. I would recommend that you make a list of what has to be done at the onset of the job and just call routinely to followup--sometimes things are or are not done and which haven't been communicated. Overall I would do it again (with a different countertop company) with Pro Remodeling--we are very pleased with our kitchen.

He started as my contractor.....Finished up as my FRIEND. Everytime I thought there was a problem.... Bill would say with his gentle kindness.... "Sweet Heart, don't worry. I will take care of it." AND? He did! Remodeling a foreclosure could be stressful. Not for me! Bill had everything taken care of. Six months afterwards...My husband's job relocated us! I asked Bill to come out & do some simple fixes. I put the house on the market & within 20 days it SOLD! They were so impressed with the new kitchen. Thank You Bill!

Recent Review: They completely gut the bathroom to include demo of the floor, vanity, tub and shower. They also framed a door that was just an archway. There was some water damage in the previous shower and they repaired that as well. The new bathroom included a tile shower with a glass door, new windows a new vanity with granite counter and sinks, new tile floor, new LED can lights and baseboard. BJ and his crew did a great job throughout the project. Prior to the demo, he took almost a full day preparing the house so that the debris would be confined to the work area. He laid down thick paper to protect our tile and hung plastic tarps in several places which kept the rest of the house mostly dust free. His crew showed up on time every day and they cleaned up at the end of each day. BJ made sure everything was how we wanted as the construction progressed. They were very flexible with changes to the plans and made honest recommendations on how we could save some money as well as what we should not skimp on. They were all very professional, skilled and took their time to do things the right way. He earned a customer for life. We are so happy with the end product and would highly recommend BJ in the future. BJ also didn't hesitate to help us out months after the construction. Our shower faucets had a drip after turning them off. He came out and inspected them and told us how we could get the manufacturer to send replacement parts that would fix the issue. I forgot to mention that I had 2 other quotes for $17,500 and $22,000 for this same project. Both of these included me purchasing the tile on my own. The $12,000 from BJ included me purchasing the tile, vanity ($1,000), counter & sinks ($1,500) and fixtures ($1,000). Still a great deal!

Recent Review: The Two Kathys were a delight to work with. From the first appointment to the last inspection they and their crews were professional, on time, efficient, and friendly - plumbers, electricians, painters, tile and countertop installers - all were polite, and answered all our questions. We changed the original work order to include some changes to our master bedroom and closet, and The Kathys met our requests without seeming to bat an eye. After the project was finished and paid for, there was some fine tuning to be done. The "fix it" person was always there within 24 hours of my call - in one case, just two hours later! We had heard horror stories from friends about home renovations, but Interior Trends put the lie to that. Should we be in need of future renovation there is no other firm we would call but Interior Trends. I give my highest recommendation to Kathy Nieto and Kathy Lyle, and the entire Interior Trends staff and crew.
