Affordable Chimney Sweep
This is the 2nd or 3rd time that I used this company, and the service was great both times. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only drawback is that you have to leave a message sometimes and wait for a callback (This is something that bugs me, but worth the wait for a good company.)

Carson's Power Vac
These guys were great. Arrived on time and set up with lots of fabric drop cloths to keep our house clean. They did a very good job - the chimney was very dirty and was smoking out the whole house. Not anymore. Once they were finished, no more smoke. They were very tidy and a very pleasant and professional crew. Will definitely use them again.

Our request for an inspection and service appt was responded to quickly and Chris was out the very next day. We had recently purchased the house and wanted to get the chimney cleaned and evaluated. Chris is very knowledgeable and identified issues we were seeing, what was a priority to fix now, what could wait a bit, what we could do ourselves, and what options he could provide for us. We had him clean the chimney and he was very clean and tidy with all that soot. We will have him out again at some point to add a cap and replace the damper, which has rusted open.

They showed up in the time indicated on the phone quote. They were very friendly and informative. They told me what they were going to do, did it, then explained what they did, and shared some conversation on other services they provide. The job was exactly the amount originally quoted (usually not expected with contractors). I would recommend this service. Chris was very professional and courteous and I have a clean chimney for the first time in a very long time.
