I decided to go with Time because of the Duke Energy rebate and their track record on Angie's list. The salesperson was nice and professional and offered me several options for my insulation needs. When I called to schedule an appointment, the older woman on the phone, I believe her name was Tammy, was very short with me about being overbooked (no doubt due to the Duke Energy affiliation) and that I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Since I was doing other work in the house I was willing to wait. Tammy then called me back a few days later because they realized an error in my scheduling, that I would need 2 appointments; one for the removal and one for the install. Tammy made it seem like it was my error for not being clear about what I selected but I wanted the work done so I dealt with it and scheduled the 2nd appointment. I was told that I would be given a 2 hour window for arrival the day before. I received a reminder message call but no window. I'm not living in the house yet so I called early in the morning to find out a window and was told I was wrong and that I was called. Then Tammy realized her mistake and stated that they don't give time frame windows for removal, only installs. I explained that they'd have to call me before they arrived because I didn't live in the house and she became increasing short with me about my lack of communicating this earlier and she would call me back and hung up. I didn't receive a call back until the workers called stating they had arrived at my house. They were professional and unfortunately believed they might have found asbestos so they couldn't continue with the work until it was resolved. I asked what next and they pretty much stated that I was on my own and that the official position of the company is for me to find my own embankment company to remove before rescheduling the work. When I called as a courtesy to relay what had happened to the office, I received, you guessed it, more rude treatment from Tammy who cut me off and stated my file on hold until I resolved the issue. No offer to provide referral information or to help resolve. I will not be calling back to reschedule.
