Tampa Bay Thermostat Installation

Call answered right away. Showed up at appointed time. Determined that thermostat is bad. Replace thermostat. $75/hr + $25 travel + about $100 for thermostat.

WE FOUND OUT THAT THE WIRING WAS INCORRECT, AND THE GENTLEMAN PUT IN A NEW THERMOSTAT AND RE-WIRED THE THERMOSTAT. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL, VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT.

Went well except the new thermostat did not cover the footprint of the old thermostat. They left me with two holes in my wall. They could have spackled the holes or used a cover plate.

Very well. I also just had a problem with my ac and they fixed that problem, too. Reasonably price and always nice to work with.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I CALLED AT 8:00 AM AND THEY WERE HERE AT 11:00 AM. JERRY WAS PROMPT, POLITE AND VERY EXPERIENCED. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT IN 30 MINUTES. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN WHEN I NEED A/C OR HEATING WORK DONE.

Workers were professional and pleasant. Job completed in one day. I am not happy with the non-programmable thermostat but I was told the programmable thermostat I had already would not work with the new unit.

Super! Tech was quite thorough, knew what he was talking about. Was pleasant, on time, called to say he was on his way.

THE GENERAL MAINTANCE WAS FINE.THE U.V. REPLACEMENT WAS FINE.THE HONEYWELL PRO 8000 TOUCH SCREEN THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING WAS A DISASTER AND DONE INCORRECTLY. THE TECHNICIAN WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS THERMOSTAT.

ARS showed up on Jan. 29th, 2022. I told them I had a thermostat issue. The tech, Yukon decided to carry out testing on the unit outside first whilst the system is running. He left his equipment attached to the compressor, then came back in and open the air handler without disconnecting the electricity. He claimed that when he opened the air handler there was a loud bang. I asked him what happened, and he said he does not know. When I asked again, he got agitated, raised his voice, and started making up a bunch of excuses. I asked for a diagnostic and he said he would email it straight away. I never got the email until 3 days later with fabricated lies that my unit was not working. Instead of fixing what he caused, he tried to upsell parts from $1100 up to $7000 in repair. Then he tried to schedule a Home Depot, comfort advisor to my home to sell me a new unit. they said they could be there within two hours to give me an estimate!!. I realized that this is some kind of scheme that ARS is planning across the board. They SABOTAGE your UNIT TO UPSELL YOU A NEW ONE because the techs get paid an extra commission if they can upsell. ARS left me without AC, at a freezing temperature of 34 degrees. I have tried to contact them to fix my AC and kept giving me the runaround. The branch in St Pete has bad customers service and Yukon the Tech was rude as ever and a blatant liar. From the moment he entered my home he had a RACIST STEREOTYPE attitude towards me because a black woman. From what I have been through with them, I would never trust any of the techs there. As for what I am concerned, they violated my property and left me with a broken AC. They are dangerous and i would not trust them with my life.

The technician arrived on time and began the installation process. During the installation of the humidistat, the thermostat quit working. The tech felt horrible that the thermostat had to be replaced as well. It was the original thermostat and it was just one of those things. The tech told me what the usual price of installation would be but stated he would not charge me that rate. When I was presented with the final bill I was very surprised, but pleased with the total. I was only charged for the price of the thermostat cost and the humidistat costs as quoted. I appreciated this gesture of excellent customer service. I will use this company again!

Jeff and Dan where fantastic, They did the job quickly.they know how to install these devises , Had to run new wire to get it working right,I would call them again . i will recommend them to family and friends. thanks again Gaurdian

Scott from Cornerstone did an awesome job installing a wifi thermostat I had purchased. I had planned to install the thermostat myself but after I purchased it and looked at the thermostat that was already installed, I decided I better let a professional handle the job since the wiring was significantly different. Scott arrived at the designated time and quickly went to work. He had to check out the current wiring at my air handler in my attic and after that he quickly installed the new thermostat. He set up the initial configuration and provided a bit of training on how to use some of the features. I've never been disappointed by Cornerstone and I've used them for several air conditioning and electrical issues at my home.

I'd give them an "A" overall. Of course since we only paid the service fee, I'd give an "A" for price. They usually send someone within 24 hours. We would use them again. They are very professional, responsive and efficient.

Scheduler responded within minutes of online request. Installer came out next day on time. David was very professional and knowledgeable. We were not able to get Zwave communication to work with house automation controller. David called next day to find out if I was able to get Zwave connection.

great! Boyette installed my new ac unit in 2010. Today I needed a new thermostat. Wasn't in warrany due to unit being over 10 years old. Rick always replies promptly to let me know he received my service call and when I can expect him.l technicians are always professional, prompt, knowledgeable and personable. recommend Boyette air to anyone needing repair or replacement
