Recent Review: Ron arrived right at 3pm. I got a call from their main office 15 minutes before Ron's arrival to tell me that he was on his way. The window was 3-5pm. Ron was very helpful and quickly researched the problem. In 30 minutes he isolated the problem to faulty wiring in a light switch. After repairing the wiring, he conducted a safety check on our power panel. He even cleaned up after himself. I consider the price to have been reasonable. Electrical work is not something to take shortcuts with; I will hire only a qualified professional electrician. We also got a full 12-month warranty on the work performed. We are planning to have additional lights installed and we will definitely seek an estimate from these fine people.

Recent Review: Prior to installation the project manager out to inspect he roof and our attic. The day they installed the panels, the went into the attic to move a few pipes to new locations and installed the panels.

Recent Review: The installment team showed up on time. They removed the old water heater and installed a solar powered ceramic water heater. Then, they installed the solar panel on the roof of the garage. They cleaned all installment garbage and took the old water heater. Fast, efficient, and professional.

Recent Review: First Andrew came to the house and explained the Skyflex sun tunnel system. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all our concerns with roof install and heat transference. Was very kind and explained the product and pricing CLEARLY and CAREFULLY. Showed us samples of the products and explain it would be about a three hour install time. We agreed on price and date was set for install. Installer arrive early ( 6:30 AM) right on time. This is Florida, so it was important to do all the ceiling/roof work before the heat of the day. Install was very polite and clean and neat. Covered his work area and clean up after installation. Very, very fast install and done well. Gentleman doing the install had twenty years experience...new his product and how to install properly. Gave us a quick lesson on how to remove the diffuser lens if we want to take in down to clean once a year if needed. We are very please with the end result.

Recent Review: On 8/18/2021 Eric Howe/Owner and Jon arrived to professionally clean our forty-nine solar panels. Eric was a former employee of the best solar panel installation companies in the Southeast United State, Solar Source. It turns out that Eric realized there is a market for professional cleaning of solar panels and has created a company that does just that. As a solar panel system owner since 2016 and my previous life in the USAF and Oil/Gas Industry I have learned the value of Preventative Maintenance/PM’s. Since 2016 we cleaned our solar panels once a year with a solution we purchased on Amazon and about every two or three months we would go on the roof and rinse the panels, especially between the panel and the metal holding bracket to remove the little dirt bugs that build up. After researching Solar Suds, we decided to get our solar array professionally cleaned. Eric and Jon did an outstanding job. Upon arrival and after setting up their gear, Eric provided me a briefing on the 12-Point Inspection Checklist he and Jon were going to do first and if anything is found and can be corrected on the spot, they will do it. If it cannot be fixed, pictures would be taken and provided to ensure a fix. Their Solar Suds Photovoltaic 12-Point Inspection Checklist is: 01. Look for any loose nuts and bolts. 02. Look for anything that is chipped, cracked, fading, or peeling. 03. Look for any handing or loose wires touching the rooftop. 04. Look for any damaged shingles or tile around the array. 05. Look for any loose mid or end clamps that hold down the panels 06. Look for any signs of electrical fires or burns around the array. 07. Look for any debris on or around the array. 08. Inspect for any debris on or around the array. 09. If present, check existing attic fans to see if they are working properly. 10. Look for any potential shading that could inhibit energy production. 11. Look for soft spots or heat bubbles around the solar array. 12. Check gutters. Eric found one panel that was not properly secured (work was done on these panels a week ago and the technician, due to lightening at the time, did not secure the top of one panel) – Eric secured the panel. He also identified one panel that has some deterioration internal to the panel. What I believe to be the most unique feature of Solar Suds work is the “purification” of the water they use. They attach their purification system to our outside water faucet wherein the water enters their system, in our case at 279 ‘minerals’, and when it comes out the other side, to use for washing/rinsing the panels, the reading is nine ‘minerals’. Their water purification system ensures that the panels are cleaned and not left with a film on the panel. The day was hot, but Eric and Jon stayed on task until the project was completed. Eric requested a snapshot of the array’s output before cleaning and then after the cleaning and there was a remarkable difference, and yes, the intensity of the sun did increase during the work; and we could clearly see the difference in how the panels looked. The price paid for the professional work accomplished is very reasonable. If you want better output from your system as well have the system and the roof that the array sits on inspected, you cannot go wrong with hiring Solar Suds to professionally and thoroughly clean your solar array and roof installed solar fans. Recent Review: My new roof was completed in just two days. I have a 2800 sq. ft. house, that has a steeply pitched "cathedral" roof. I couldn't believe that they completely removed the old roof in one day and had the new roof installed by the end of the second day! I expected the job to take 4-5 days. Several of my neighbors have also commented that they've never seen a complete roof replacement finished so quickly and professionally. By the way, the new roof looks fabulous and new wind turbine attic fans that were installed are FAR more effective at keeping my house cool than the old ridge vents ever were. A few days later, my new solar panels went up. The job went very smoothly and was completed in three days. I am very happy with workmanship and the quality of the materials used. I cannot yet comment on how well the solar system works, as the system has not yet been activated (brought on-line). However, that is my fault, not Lumio's. Based on last-minute information I received from Lumio, I elected to change my order and go with some newer technical equipment, which will upgrade my system by improving its integration capability. Because my 11th hour changes forced the engineers to rework the technical details of my system and reapply for installation permits, that created a delay in bringing my system on-line. I am not at all bothered by this delay, as it was caused by my own choice to upgrade my system, and those upgrades are very desirable. Further, Lumio is installing the upgraded equipment I selected at no additional cost to me. I am 100% satisfied with the service I received and I most strongly recommend Lumio to anyone that is interested in having a new roof or a solar power system installed in their house or business. 5 STARS!

Recent Review: Christina Jackson was very efficient in handling all the permitting and keeping me up to date on the installation process. Her team came on time and performed all the work that needed to be done in a timely and efficient manner. The installers were very professional and took time to answer all my questions about the installation and operation of the unit and what to do when it came time to replace my roof. They left the site clean and free of debris. After the installation was complete she submitted all the necessary paper work to Duke Energy to get the unit hooked up. She has personally come out to handle a situation with the unit months later. She has gone to bat for me with the company not honoring their agreement with me. I can not say enough about this company and Christina Jackson. More businesses should have the ethics and commitment that this company has. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add solar to their home or business.
