I called The Roofing Company to get an estimate for a roof repair, and also a replacement as our roof is approximately 17 years old. It took about 3 weeks to get an appointment which I was initially disappointed about, but this was after a slew of heavy rains so I understand that business probably increased. I scheduled my appointment through Themi, who was very responsive to my emails and flexible with my unique work schedule. On the day of our scheduled appointment (about an hour before hand) we had a family emergency come up so I called to cancel our appointment. The person I spoke with (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was very accommodating and supportive of our situation. I apologized for the late notice, and she said it was not a problem. About 30 minutes later I called back to see if we could keep our original appointment after a change of plans, and The Roofing Company told it was no problem and they would be there as originally planned. Chris called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, and his approximate arrival time. Chris was very professional and friendly, and brought me outside to explain the leak problem and how water was entering the house. He explained to me that the solution was fairly simple, told me that we could fix it ourselves, and even gave us the caulk and sealant so that we didn't have to go to a home improvement store to buy it. I am truly blown away. This type of customer service is something you rarely see nowadays, and I'm impressed by how this company treats their customers. This is actually the SECOND time The Roofing Company has taught me how to fix our roof DIY when they could have easily up-charged us, and gained business. They previously came out a few months ago to check a similar leak in a different part of the house, and provided us the same courteous and respectful service. We also received a roof repair estimate which was almost exactly what I expected the cost to be based on the size of our house. I'm confident that when we do have to replace our roof we'll be in good hands with Chris and The Roofing Company.
