Tampa Bay Fiberglass Shower Repair

I had used this couple in May to refinish a bathtub. I'm very happy with both the bathtub and now the shower stall. They're very friendly, professional, courteous and prompt. They work fast and clean up when the job's done. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

He was excellent. He came out right away. He fixed it and it is no longer leaking. He didn't charge for fixing the other faucet and he didn't have the right part for that so he called their office and they sent somebody out with the proper part. He didn't charge any extra for that work. He didn't do any damage to the fiberglass shower. He arrived five minutes early.

Trevor was polite, clean, on time and very efficient. He worked quickly and focused on what needed to be done. His plumbing work and demo of shower was completed in one day and everything works as promised with no leaks. The price was a bit more than expected, but he did a LOT more than was planned and treated us extremely fair. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

I had a leak in the shower pan of the upstairs shower in the master bedroom. This leak caused damage to the half wall and the sub floor in about a 25 square foot area. Mike removed all of the damaged wood and replaced it, designed a new shower using a concrete shower pan and ceramic tile, and replaced the ceramic floor tile in that area of the bathroom. Mike worked evenings and weekends (including Sundays) to speed up the completion of the job. The actual completion was about a month, but that was due to delays in the type of tile I ordered and the glass company custom making the glass. He also noticed an issue with the vinyl ceiling in the entry way of my house and fixed that while he was here. I'm planning on using Mike again to replace my garden tub with a jacuzzi tub.

They responded right away, arrived on time, told us what they could do and then did it. It was totally professional.

AKL did a great job. I called in the morning just to see if they do bathtubs and they had a technician out that afternoon. I was given an estimate over the phone and that's exactly what I payed. The technician was prompt, courteous, and quick. He made sure I was happy with the repair. They did a perfect match on the tub. No one will be able to tell there was a hole there. I am very satisfied.

WE HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH MR. KROUSE AND HAVE ALREADY HIRED HIM FOR A SMALL KITCHEN REMODELING PROJECT. WE WOULD READILY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE UNDERTAKING A SIMILAR PROJECT.

He came right on time, they called me twice during the day to let me know when the tech would be there. He was very professional and explained everything he was going to do to locate my leak. In under a half an hour he had checked my entire pool and found the leak. He plugged the bad pipe and we have not lost any water since. I am still deciding if we will dig up the deck and actually fix the pipe, it's an old pool. I was very happy and would use them again if another leak pops up.

No complaints for work done. Owner was kind, courteous, and thorough. Did ask for an additional quote for screened in front entrance but have not heard back.

had technician TR come out in July, 2018 to find a leak in my inground fiberglass pool. He spent about 15 minutes there. He put some dye near all of the return fittings and told me that both of my 1023 fittings are bad and he recommended replacing them. He quote me $1800 for them too do the work. The charge for this inspection was $295. He never left the inside of the lanai area, never checked the pump area, never checked around the pool or in the yard where I told him the yard was flooding from the pool leak. He never went inside the pool and checked for leaks as i was told he would do by the girl that answers the phone in the office. I was also told that he would use some sonic testing equipment to test "ALL" of the plumbing underground and around the pool area for leaks which he did not do any of it. I asked about some approx. of costs of repair. First she told me that many times it is the main drain in fiberglass pools and that they will just plug the main drain plumbing since I don't need a main drain. And that repair will be included in the $295. She also mentioned that if a return needs to be replaced it will run approx. $800. So my main problem is that they lied to me and tried to charge me for repairing a fitting that I also did not need. I called a few other places to get another opinion and was told that the leak was in the fitting that was used to vacuum the pool. He then told me that if I really wanted it repaired he can do it for $600 but he did not see why I would want to fix it since I do not really need it. He said I can vacuum the pool using the suction line from the skimmer. He then said that many pools don't even have a separate fitting for just a vacuum. He fixed it in about 2 minutes with a $6.00 plug that he inserted in the vacuum line. Since he fixed it I have never had to add water to it and it's been almost 60 days. I would never recommend this company to anyone........ BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
