First I want to say, I am very OCD when it comes to customer service. In my profession I deal with high wealth institutions and customer service is beyond a polite attitude and saying please and thank you. You have to create a sense of urgency, like their problem is your problem, that you care as much, or even more than they do, that everything goes according to plan. You have to own it. Bridget, Michael and their son Mike did exactly that. First, communication. Once I had purchased the coupon on Angie's list, Bridget gave me a call shortly thereafter to let me know they had received my request, outlined how things would go, so I knew what to expect, and that they would give me a courtesy call on the day of my appointment so I would know they were coming. She had a very friendly attitude, listened and didn't talk through me when I tried to speak. SO far I felt comfortable that things were well in hand. I arranged to work from home. As most of us have to make some kind of sacrifice in our time to be available on "their" time frames, it's important everything goes as scheduled. True enough, Bridget let me know they were finishing up their job and would be out to me shortly thereafter. They were right on time as they said they would be. They had everything they needed with them and Bridget led the introductions, greeting me kindly and again explaining how the work would progress. I spent much of my time in my office working, but came out several times to check on how things were going. Each time, everything was progressing nicely. The living room and dining room looks as good as new and blended in perfectly even though our home is 18 years old. The patio ceiling is now clean and crisp, also just like new. I will give it a couple days to dry and then put a fresh coat of paint. Good as new. They were clean, professional, obviously a family owned business which gave a kind of ease to the whole process. It was more like a couple of your friends came by to help you out, they didn't feel like strangers. They took about 2 hours to complete the three areas, gave me some tips and advice on maintenance and cleaned up after themselves. Once they were gone you couldn't tell they were ever here, except for the fine quality work they did. If you need anything done with Drywall, call these guys. They will put you at ease, let you know what's happening, get it done right without leaving anything mess behind. If I didn't know they were here, it'd be like elves came in and magically fixed everything! Great way to start the New Year!!
