Very professional, explained things in an understandable manner. They actually installed the same day they gave us the estimate. The installation went very well and we are very happy with it. We recommend them highly.

The crew showed up on time. They were courteous & efficient. They explained what they had done upon job completion & cleaned up after themselves.

They have completed PM on our Heating & A/C the past several years. Excellent service. The technician examined the heat exchanger & also the duct, & said neither were in need of repair. The rust was cosmetic & he showed me how to clean it. There was no charge for this part of the work.

I would not recommend them. When I went and looked up in the attic, they had left the entire attic area trashed. We got an air conditioner in the summer time and in the winter time when we needed the heater, the heater wouldn't work. We called them, the guy came right out. There was a problem with the thermostat inside the house which he had to replace but he didn't have the parts so he had to drive to Tampa and he was going to come back in a couple hours. I told him about how the attic was trashed. He said if I could get some garbage he would clean it up. He came back in a couple of hours, he fixed the thermostat, he got the heater going, I gave him the trash bags and he cleaned up most of the trash and he went away. We have a solar hot water heater from a different company. The guy came to service that and called me up into the attic and showed me where the duct work for the air handler up there was not sealed and it was blowing hot air, so I was wasting a whole lot of hot air. I paid the guy from Solar Hot Water Heater a couple hundred bucks after work to come back and complete seal all the units, to fix the stuff that Millerman and Sons did poorly. He didn't do the job right in the first place, he left it trashed, it didn't work when it was supposed to, he came back and fixed it, and cleaned up the stuff because I had complained about it. In the process of going up there and doing a whole bunch of stuff he didn't happen to notice there were huge gaping holes. I would not go back to him.

From the call to the office to the end of the techs visit all went very well. They took the time to answer all my questions and made suggestions too. The tech arrived on time and did a great job. Nice to see a company that places a great deal of importance on customer service.

We had a new unit put in here a couple of years ago so the equipment has been relatively new but they have come in here and serviced it twice a year. Everything has been okay and I haven't got any complaints. The technician who comes around seems to be nice, friendly, cooperative and no complaints. There are things they could be better at as far as waiting for the specialist filler that this unit requires, usually they don't have it in stock and you've got to wait a month before you get the replacement unit in. Their price is reasonable.

Some a/c companies won't do plumbing on the heating and a/c lines going into their own equipment. Some plumbing companies don't do standard plumbing on lines terminating into a heating and a/c unit. This leaves the customer in a real bind. This is like "whose responsibility is it?" and they point fingers at each other and the customer is stuck. I think I have now got the plumbing company (Maurici) to agree to install automatic air bleeding equipment on the plumbing lines to solve my problem. The air was temporarily bled out of the system by the a/c people by once again bleeding the air at the heat exchanger water pump.

System failed to cool so called them. They were booked up but did squeeze me in which I appreciate. Repair man found blower in heat exchange not operating. Ordered replacement part under warrantee and it was delivered and installed next day. I timed the installation and it was about 1 1/4 hrs. I was charged $404.25 for that labor. This include the $70 service call to diagnose the issue so the actual charge for 1 1/4 hrs labor was $334.25. Very expensive labor bill for a warrantee repair. They did a good job on the repair but be aware that it is very costly.

It went very well, there was a low pressure sales pitch about an add on. Warnings about various pieces of equipment which Scott later checked and said were okay. He tried very hard to sell us a Membership (insurance) which would give us two cleanings a year. Also we could rely on them to give us special consideration for any emergency. All in all I was pleased with the professionalism and also Scott cleaned up after himself even though I offered. I am used to the sales pitches that most companies give to accept their insurance plans so I had no problem turning this one down.

When you are their customer, they take the best care of you and you have a lot shorter time to wait.

I obtained three prices to replace my air conditioner/heat pump. All were within 500 of each other. Cool Today was the least expensive. The manufacturer choosen was a Carrier. It was the largest unit and most efficient. The external heat pump, heat exchanger and the blower were replaced. All duct work associated with the replacement was also replaced. All work was done in the most professional manner. The price included Florida and manufacturer rebates. Also included in the price was a programmable thermostat and a high efficiency Aprilaire filter. The bids were all on the same equipment. I carefully researched the equipment before obtaining prices. When completed, the unit is so quiet that there is no noise that can be heard from it. The older unit (8 years old) was quite loud.The installation was great. The contractor returned in about 4 weeks to check the installation and to determine if there were any problems. They made a few minor adjustments but everything was operating great.

My initial complaint was due to a bad smell on two of the bedrooms. I was told that it was likely due to the air ducts being dirt. We agreed to buy a package to clean up the ducts and install new filtering and a UV light. Another company was contracted to cleanup the air ducts. I asked them to look around the attic and check for dead animals (my cats were staring at the ceiling, and we had heard some noises prior). As it turns out, we had 4 dead squirrels that I had to remove myself, which is why we had the bad smell. Eventually, I found that the entrance point was through the power conduit that provides power to the AC external heat exchanger, and I took care of that myself. Like the old saying: everything looks like a nail to a kid with a hammer...

Came down to our second home in St. Pete from Viginia over the 4th of July weekend to find the compressor and heat exchanger iced. I called on a Sunday, taking a shot - it was fairly humid and figured I'd try since I hold to the maxim and quot;Happy wife; happy lifeand quot; and we scored a visit the same day. Mike was punctual and honest - did not attempt any shenanigans regarding the A/C service call and I felt I could trust him as he recommended a course of action to maintain the current system which is nearing end of life and reassess at the next casualty. I was suspecting that he would attempt to sell me a new heat exchanger in the air handler even a new air handler, but instead offered that better money could be spent in maintaining the current system and then research new components later. Mike took the time to explain the pitfalls of the latest Carrier and quot;GreenSpeedand quot; system which offers excellent efficiency but has experienced expensive module failures. Their initial estimates were far less than what the Home Depot contracting rep provided for a simularly sized (5 ton) system. It's good to work with local contractors, it seems you generally have a better chance of being treated with integrity....especially if they'd like to come back.

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We purchased our entire Luxury brand new home appliances and plumbing fixtures from them , and we've had endless problems. Three out of Five major appliances were defective , and plumbing fixtures dented. FERGUSON will NOT take any responsibility instead they send a third party service company to "fixed" the defective appliances. The third party ruined completely one of our appliances and now neither FERGUSON or the service company will do anything about it. They delivered defective appliances and they will NOT replace, exchange, or credit back. BE AWARE!!
