Tampa Bay Shower Door Installation

There was a slight leak before the door was installed, and my husband knew it was the door. After Mr. Zand installed the new door he told us it was the tile or our "pan". We had a tile contractor come in and look at the shower. He determined there was nothing wrong with the tile or the pan. We went back to Stan and told him that. He came back four times and all he did was caulk each time. My husband put a shower curtain on and the leak went away which proves that it was something bad in the installation of the door. When we showed this to Stan he just took the curtain off, caulked some more and said there was nothing else he could do. He had verbally said that there was a lifetime guarantee and he said not to do anything before we called him and we didn't. We followed his instructions, we even tried to grout the tile. The top frame piece of the side panel on the door was crooked and I mentioned that after he installed it and he told me that my walls were crooked.

HE PICKED UP THE DOORS AT THE STORE ALSO. HE IS VERY NEAT AND HAS A GOOD ATTITUDE. HIS SON WORKS WITH HIM.

Hired David Styles of Homeworx to install a Delta Shower Door system. David is a really nice professional with a great sense of humor. He did a great job on the installation. His hourly rate is much more affordable @ $65 an hour than some services charging $115 plus a $50 “show-up” fee. I will use Homeworx again for projects and would recommend their services to anyone needing a handyman.

About 6 months, I purchased a townhouse in Ruskin, FL; fairly new but it needed some small repairs. I have looked and looked online and through various sites to hire a handyman that was responsible, genuinely interested in delivering a project estimate yet no one wanted or was even remotely interested to do it. I couldn’t understand why. It seemed like those that called for the job, were more interested in bigger projects; they made up excuses, never called back, etc. About a month ago when I went to Home Depot and asked for one of their own referrals and found South Bay Home Services and I must say that it was worth the long wait. This company sent his best man to do the job, Jose Cervantes. He was able to do some repair an existing door shower, install a new one in a second one, install a TV rack, etc. This guy is the real deal. I am, by far, impressed with the work quality and dedication to complete the project in a timely fashion. Perfectly. They were able to do my repair within 48 hours of calling. They kept me informed when serviceman was in route. No problems doing the repair. Serviceman was very nice.

I had a bath remodel, but needed someone to install glass shower door. Door was purchased from Home Depot and Joe picked up the door and did the install. I knew of Joe from him doing many jobs for neighbors and everyone was very pleased. His installation charge was far less than Home Depot and he did a very good job. Will definitely use him on other projects in the future.

Mike has helped me on multiple projects including a bathroom renovation, fence repair, ceiling fan and light fixture installation. As a realtor he also has helped me prep several houses for sale with painting, door knobs, shower doors and wood trim, etc. He does a great job!

Very responsive, professional, and friendly service. right on time. Hired them to fix a two-panel sliding glass shower door. Unfortunately, the work was messy, left the bathroom sink, toilet lid, and floor dirty where tools/parts were placed. quality of repair was ok at best but not great. one door is still slightly crooked and both do not slide smoothly. the silicone glue on one panel smeared about two inches into the glass. the door is better than what it was before the repair but will have to eventually get someone else to fix it right. These handy men are ok if you need a quick fix but the quality is just a patch up job.

He fixed damage cause to the wall on the outside of the shower door due to water penetrating the grout. He also sealed and re-caulked the rest of the shower. I'm a long distance landlord and it worked out very well for me and my tenant. Would recommend and use again.

Mark has replaced, flooring, doors, tile, toilets, ceiling fans, shower doors, plumbing, decking, painting, and the list goes on and on. All work was completed in a timely manner and to perfection. Trustworthy and fairly priced. We will be using Mark for many years to come.

MR. KOCH SPENT MUCH EXTRA TIME CLEANING UP THE DEBRIS LEFT AFTER REMOVAL OF THE DOOR. ALSO CLEANED UP THE MARBLE LEDGE. HE GAVE ME THE OPTION OF DISPOSING OF THE DOORS TO REDUCE THE PRICE OF THE JOB. MR. KOCH WAS PLEASANT,NEAT AND VERY CONSCIENTIOUS ABOUT HIS WORK. HE TOLD ME THAT HE MAKES EVERY ATTEMPT NOT TO PRICE GOUGE CUSTOMERS AND WAS WILLING TO NEGOTIATE. I WOULD RECOMMEND MR. KOCH HIGHLY. HE CAN ALSO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL LANDSCAPING SERVICES AS WELL AS HANDYMAN HELP. LOCATED IN HOLIDAY AREA

It took sometime to arrange getting the work onto his schedule but I was pretty cool with that. The shower doors are great as is the wall patchwork and drywall repairs. The curtain rods were all hung properly. The kitchen counter top caulking was filled in mostly by Kyle. He did a good job as the gap is huge so the fill is thick. This needs to be painted now , Reid could not finish as it needed to dry.I may attempt that myself as I know he is busy. Some gaps along baseboard needed to be filled as I have tile that is old. Reid did this. He complained to Kyle that the redy-mix cement was coming out to fast from the caulk gun. That is the only thing that I find to look sloppy in several areas. I will need to scrap some small bits off as it is a thick line. That is really the only thing I am not happy with. I also wished that my bedroom couch and a few other areas had drop cloth over them. The fine dust particles when sanding drywall mud just go everywhere. I was very impressed with the fact that both Reid and Kyle kept moving and took no breaks.I felt they were very ethical with time management. That of course is so important when you pay by the hour. Reid's estimate was as well pretty spot on. The only thing you could improve is the cleanliness and covering of furniture etc. I would use Reid again. The only issue for me is I may only have small jobs and he is very busy. I would hesitate to call for that reason. I am very happy with the work done and the time it was done in.
