Earl Pruitt Well & Pump Service
Earl Sr. came out within a couple hours of my call. He inspected the pump and told me what the problem was, what was needed and quoted a fair price. The work was scheduled for the next day. David arrived with his crew ahead of schedule and began work. Removing the old pump was an unexpected problem but David called Earl Sr. who called me immediately to explain the problem, what would be required and what to expect. Within a couple of hours, a crane arrived, the pump was pulled and work continued. Everything was explained and I was very comfortable with everything that was done. Before they left, everything was checked to be sure it was working correctly. I would definitely recommend Earl Pruitt for any well and pump service. I would use them again but don't anticipate any problems based on all the work they did. Great family owned business!

Representatives showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the parts. The parts were available in town but, for some reason, management did not want the workers to go and pick up the parts. My old well pump stopped working several months ago. Because of the low rainfall I thought it might be that the well had run dry. Then, I noticed that there was a slight leak where the intake connected to the pump. It was an old pump and heavily rusted where the repair needed to be made so I bought and installed a new pump. I was never able to get any water using the new pump so I assumed that the well was indeed dry. Because of the expense of watering with city water, I finally decided to call Lee's Pump after I found his name on Angie's list. Within an hour he had my pump gushing water from the well. Very pleasant person! He came out the same day I called.

Charlie's Wells Irrigation
They answered my call right away and set up an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately they came out with a 1 hp pump instead of 1.5 hp pump. I told the person who sets up the appointments that the pump was so old couldn't tell what size pump I had. They only brought out the smaller pump. So they had to come back the next day. Not a huge deal. Job itself was done very well and would have them back to do other work.

I called them on a Saturday afternoon, they showed up very quickly and assessed my situation. My well pump needed to be replaced, but I could not do it for two weeks. They got the pump running again and I was able to make it through the time required. They quickly responded when i could replace the pump and showed me how bad the previous pump had been and that it was not a 5 HP as I was led to believe from another company. The day they replaced my pump, they were faced with electrical storms but stuck with it and got it done. Great people, highly recommended!

I live in Apollo Beach and had a sprinkler pump that had stopped working. I called the people that installed the pump. It was about 5 years old. They told me that I needed a new pump and that the pump I had was not the correct one (even though their company installed it).That a new 40' line from the well to the pump was needed. They quoted me $3500. I knew better. I called Bay Area Pump and Well Service right here in Apollo Beach. Wesley Carter and his son came out right on time. They diagnosed the problem as a bad check valve at the well connection and replaced it. They also cleaned out my jet pump and redid the input plumbing into the pump. Installed a ball valve. He explained to me why and how the pump malfunctioned and what he did. They were respectful, courteous and professional. Their charge for parts and service was $200 that included a service charge. They saved me a lot of money. They will be recommended to my family and friends if they need this service.They are honest and reliable.

AAA Whites Septic Tank Service
One week after being in our new home, the septic pump was running continuously. We used Angie's List to find someone to come out and take a look at the pump. Boy, we were glad we picked AAA White's. Jason arrived less than a half hour after our call. He located the pump after some digging. We needed to replace the lift station pump and have the tank pumped. Super Service Award Recent Review: Kevin was very responsive. I left a voice mail and he called me back right away and advised when he would be able to come by to look at the sump pump. He followed up when his prior commitment was running late so we set up time for the following day. Kevin called when he was on his way. He was very friendly and extremely polite. He looked at my sump pump and it turned out the pipe that was attached to it wasn't glued. I bought this house four months ago so I had no idea that the prior owner didn't glue it. He glued it and all is now working. We will definitely use his services in the future when we want to have our irrigation system checked.

Recent Review: There was a 2 day delay post County inspection due to pipes needing to be moved. Otherwise, great experience. Work was scheduled quickly, done well, and they cleaned up after. They always took the time to explain what was going on in the process and answer questions. We have used this company in the past for pumping. Recent Review: I was having periodic water outages. This company installed a water treatment system, a bladder tank and switch about 7 months ago. Since I had never had one of these systems, I wanted to make sure that it was functioning property and if not, get it fixed. I had an appointment later in the day and told the company that when I called them. They arrived within the hour and spent about an hour checking their entire system. It was working properly. They suggested that my well pump may be the problem since it seemed to be overheating while running. That meant the thermal sensor would have stopped the pump from operating. It was also apparently not resetting after cool down. Because the pump was over 30 years old that seemed a reasonable assumption. Filtration Direct does not work on well pumps, so I subsequently called another company to check out the pump. Their prompt response and the time they spent checking out their system -- well over an hour -- was deeply appreciated. The other company fixed my well pump and the water is back running with no outages.

Recent Review: Called Larry on Sunday and he was on the job mid-day Monday. Larry looked over the pump and circuit breaker. He explained that the GFI tripped, a new pump was not needed. Larry took the time to examine the water pressure and checked all the sprinkler stations. He tapped up some exposed wire in the pump and suggested an electrician to correct the wiring. Terrific work. Honest and reliable. I would highly recommend Larry Kelly for any irrigation issues.
