Small Jobs Electric
I got this number from a home improvement company, and was told he is on Angie's list. He came out and was very clean cut and professional looking. He put a new outlet in our garage for a refrigerator. The next night we got hit by lightning and I guess the outlet wasn't grounded right, but he came out and fixed it again for free. He also installed a surge protector. He was so fabulous, and we can't recommend him enough. He gave us the price before he did the job. Again, he was very very good. I've given his business cards out to two people I know.

We called the company upon recommendation of our condo management based on their experience with D'Adrea. We had purchased a new stove and upon delivery discovered that the existing outlet would not allow the stove to fit properly. Our call was answered promptly and a service appointment was scheduled for the following day. This was important to us as we had additional work scheduled, and it was imperative that this issue was resolved quickly. The electrician was prompt, and worked very hard in tight quarters to install the new outlet. It was not an easy job , and required additional steps to get the job done. His calm and good humored approach was appreciated. The price was very reasonable , given the amount of time required and the effort to accomplish the task.

I've worked with Electric Today on a number of small projects in the past (dimmers, new outlets, re-wire fans, etc.). They are not the cheapest company around, but I don't really want the lowest bidder when it comes to electrical work. Maybe I'm paranoid but that's how houses burn down. So when we needed to move an outlet and add a circuit, light switch, mounting box for the lighting in a new closet, I insisted on working with Electric Today, even though the contractor offered to do the work for less. I'm just more comfortable having a licensed electrician do electrical work. I'm sure there are less expensive electricians out there, but Electric Today is extremely professional, reliable, and conscientious. I count on them to do the work right.

I called Dan this afternoon when I realized I needed a new electrical outlet to run my dryer and to my shock he was in the area and able to fit me in right then! Recent Review: Mike was very professional and did a terrific job of explaining what needed to be done in order for the work to be brought up to code. Our range required that the wiring be switched over from the older 3-prong hard wire setup we had with the cooktop unit to the newer 4-prong/outlet setup. He also had to create the new outlet box further down the wall near the floor to ensure the power cord had the appropriate space/connection capability. The assistant needed to access the attic to run the new wire from the breaker box to the new outlet. Mike and his assistant also did a great job cleaning up their work areas when they finished the job.
